This is a quilt my wife and I are working on for a wedding gift. She is the master mind and project lead. I provide reliable ironing and cutting support. Her sous-seamstrist we joke.
She just alerted me to this sub and felt like showing off her work and Gertie's modeling skills.

Ok not quite a quilt, but I started a new applique project, customizing my new Carhartt backpack and of course Ponyo climbed right on

That's the only impression I get from this behavior

I hadn't realized how much cat hair was on my rug until I laid the quilt out today, but the cats seem to think it wasn't enough.

Had one last quilt label to sew on before taking the quilts down for the drop off for the fair. As soon as Loki saw put it on the table, he was there to snoopervise

Rules say should be free of pet hair, and must have a label attached. Loki is sitting on the label I still need to attach (can barely see it by the right side corner). Looks like it will need lint rolling again as well!

The frame ended up being useless but it sure made a comfy spot for Freya to stretch and be pretty!

My guy testing the coziness factor of my second-ever (QAYG) quilt (Bethlehem/Carpenter Star). Not sewn together yet. 😻

This man stays on me (and whatever I’m trying to do) at all times. I just want to finish basting so we’re one step closer to having something for both of us to lay on lmao. 🐈

Obviously we can't include them in the quilt until they've been thoroughly investigated for comfort.

My 5 year old boy just had surgery to remove a 5” thread from his intestines. He’s obsessed. I have all quilting things in inaccessible drawers/bins but so many things in my house have strings/threads; rugs, clothes, towels, shoe laces etc. etc. etc. Moved all my sewing things to a room with a door now-what else can I do to be proactive? Thanks for your help.
