0 issues. I loved the MC9, but I really love the Prime! The OSight SE is legit too, less than 2 mags to get her dialed in.

I was told that the tlr-7x works with the Canik Prime rail, which it does not. All the 1913 keys don't work I saw that some people have made a special key to make it work anyone have a link on where to buy one?

I recently acquired this Canik and am interested in making it my daily carry. I would like to hear the opinions of this forum’s knowledgeable members on good holsters, whether leather or polymer, and any sights or accessories they would recommend to make it more suitable for carrying.

The 5.7 here is what I usually carry, so this is a significant size difference for me.

I put its first 100 rounds through it today and honestly wasn't impressed. Yea I know its gotta break in but I had multiple failures to fire. Everything cycled just fine. Just squeezing the trigger send the striker home with a click and no bang.

Running standard Winchester 9mm 115gr target ammo. I tried both the light spring and standard spring with no difference in random FTF's.

Of course it will be back to the range with a proper break-in run when I've got more time to run more ammo through it but for now, its definitely looking nicer than it performs.

Yes, I thoroughly cleaned it prior to use. Even removed the striker and cleaned/lubed it and its housing.

Going to pick up a Canik tonight (my first one), and I am SO TORN. Do I go with the SFX Rival or the Rival S? I will be using it for competition shoots as a beginner, as well.

I know the steel frame of the Rival S is preferred for more stable shooting/less recoil during comps - but I’m also seeing weighted options for the SFX Rival to help with its contrast in weight and recoil also (not sure if those options do make all the difference or not).

I also love to “trick” out my firearms that I own, and I’ve been seeing a bit more options for accessories and color for the SFX Rival as opposed to the Rival S also.

For reference I’m female, 5’4”, tiny ass hands, and also concerned with the fatigue of the rival S over time with its steel frame (if that’s something I should even be concerned about lol). Thanks everyone! 😊

Looking to see if i can get a barrel for the prime. I opened up the ports on mine and it is SIGNIFICANTLY louder and im not a fan of that for carry. So I was wondering if this barrel would work on the prime so I could have some options

For reference, I’m a woman and injured my hand playing rugby. The injured hand is my dominant hand. I’m able to fire normally and I CAN rack it but it’s a bit heavy.

Just looking for advice on how you’ve made it easier to rack the gun. I’m BRAND NEW to making fun modifications so keep that in mind. I’m seeing that you can change out the recoil spring? However, I don’t want to disrupt the way the gun works because of it. I’ve watched several videos about this specific gun and one of them gave me pause on wanting to change the spring.

Has anyone changed the spring on their METE MC9? It’s my EDC right now but I have another gun on the way that might be my new EDC so that’s not too much of a problem. Thank you in advance to anyone with advice. Much appreciated

Good Afternoon, It has come to my attention that I can purchase slides and frames… (just found out yesterday) anywho, does anyone know if the TP9 rival slide will fit onto the TP9SFX frame?

Also would the TP9 Elite SC fit onto any other frame? Or is it just one of those where I have to be SOL.

Sent some stuff out for cerakote, decided last minute to throw the canik slide in for ha ha’s and I am fondly in love with this gun again.
Was my first 9mm pistol and I shot it a lot and then I learned about guns and it sat in the safe untouched, unused for years!
Well she’s back bb! Little cerakote, TF backstrap, TFMagwell and an optic (508t) I had lying around.. well damn !

Took old gun and put lipstick on it with enthusiasm

Caniks have one of the best out of the box triggers of any striker fired pistol, but I personally swap mine out with the freedomsmith trigger days after I picked up my Prime Radian.

This one is the Pinnacle Pro, swapped it in a few days after I picked up the Prime Radian. This takes an amazing trigger group... and turns it into a fantastic one.

Great geometry for minimizing takeup, beautiful design and quality, crisp break, same reliability. Love these triggers.

I dont think Ive seen a Prime Radian with their triggers yet so this is just to let some people see what it looks like. Let me know what you guys think.

This being my current EDC Im not modifying Recoil spring, plunger spring, or striker spring as I want to maintain reliability. Probably the only mod I will do to this guy.

My Prime drills started with a magazine fumble from IWB. I got a little smoother along the way.

I’m coming from carrying a G48 so the ambidextrous slide catch is causing some issues for me.

Added a Prime with OSight today, stoked to put some rounds down range this week.

For some reason screws don’t like to be screwed into this spot( the spot without a screw). At first I thought it was me, I replaced the back strap with the large version and when going to screw in this spot on the grip the screw stripped almost immediately. So I reached out to century and they sent me some replacement screws pretty fast. It was supposed to come with for but only three came which was fine. The issue is I went to screw into that spot again and what do you know it strips two of the three screws. The last screw I can kind of get in but I’m in able to tighten it without it feeling like it’s about to strip the screw. The plan for now is to just put a little thread locker on that screw not tighten it down to much so it doesn’t strip and hope that works. I’m not sure how many people have this problem with their rival s but I have seen a couple of post. It’s just a minor inconvenience but it’s still pretty annoying considering I’m paying hoping for it work the way it’s intended.

Canik has said they will not sell the Radian slide as its own SKU.
