The only game outside the state in the non-conference schedule is vs SDSU in Palm Springs on 12/19.

Could be a nice getaway weekend. Weather will be nice and will be fun to check out the new arena.

As of right now:
~$400 round trip nonstop flights from SJC —> PSP
~$125-150/night for hotel near the stadium
Game tickets TBD but shouldn’t be too bad

Are we in crisis as far as BYU basketball? We are now in July and KY has not filled one of the 4 remaining spots on the roster. This cannot be part of a master plan of some kind, right? You would definitely want the major part of the roster filled by now. Is this an indication that byu is unable to compete for the best talent out there? If so, what are the reasons? Is it the byu environment ( honor code, etc ) or we aren’t willing to outbid other schools or worse, not enough money? I have a hard time with some of the things KY has been saying about they had one guy on their radar all along ( aka the 7’5 giant from China ). I really have to question his strategy if that is the case. I’m hoping he can surprise me with late additions but am losing hope. Am I the only one out there worried about this?

I recently saw someone talking about a student-run podcast. I was pretty skeptical at first because they were a bunch of students. It was pretty funny tho, and they have compelling arguments. I listened to it on spotify, but I think they also have it on apple podcats. Would 100 percent recommend.

Looks like we have the roster pretty well filled out (a more solid starter at PF might be nice) other than a huge hole at center. It looks like a majority of the decent ones in the portal have committed to teams or have no connection to BYU. This is obviously the position that was the main factor in our tourney loss last year so it is quite concerning that our solid options are dwindling. Who do you guys see us getting?
