Android Android, Reddit keeps signing me out randomly (Version 2026.28.0)

Upvotes

Sometimes it will require login the same day sometimes it's days apart where it will automatically log me out. I uninstalled the reinstalled, restarted phone and it's up to date. And I already changed my password. Is this some Reddit bug in the recent update?

Desktop Web Desktop web - Media Processing failed issue

Upvotes

I'm trying to post a gaming video (6m40s long, .mp4, 280 MB) and I get the 'Media Processing failed' message - despite the video being in Reddit's specified parameters. I've tried uploading slightly longer videos and had the same issue (but still within parameters). Previously I've uploaded things fine with no problem (though longest vid is probably 4m or so). My internet speed is poor but that hasn't been an issue before.

Any ideas?

The problem started on yesterday I saw I was automatically logged out of reddit mobile app. Tried to login with google, username method, email login link but none of them worked and showed "authentication error". Tried but app login failed but tried on web and it was success. After giving correct information it also shows same error. Dev/Admin Responded Android Profile name glitch app version 2026.28.0

For the last few days profile names aren't getting displayed in dark mode on my Android phone. It's just a blank space. If I turn off Dark Mode then everything seems to work fine. But in dark mode it's just weird. Emojis do show up but in place of names, it's just a big blank space. Is this happening to others too? Is there a fix.

Desktop Web [Chrome] Reddit login stuck in js_challenge loop in normal Chrome profile

I cannot use Reddit in my normal Chrome profile on my computer because every Reddit URL is automatically

redirected to a URL containing:

js_challenge=1

The page then goes blank, or the login overlay darkens the page without displaying the login

form.

(Manually typing reddit.com/login redirects me to a URL in this format:

https://www.reddit.com/login/?solution=\[redacted\]&js_challenge=1&token=\[redac

ted]&jsc_orig_r=)

This only happens in my regular Chrome profile. Reddit works in:

• Firefox

• the Reddit app

• old Reddit

• Chrome Guest mode on my computer

• Chrome (logged in) on my phone

I have already tried:

• Clearing all Reddit cookies, site data, and permissions

• Confirming JavaScript is allowed

• Disabling every Chrome extension

• Resetting all Chrome flags

• Fully quitting and reopening Chrome

• Trying both reddit.com and reddit.com/login

In Chrome DevTools, the login request has also returned HTTP 400 with “Internal Server Error."

This has been happening for years. My username and password are valid, and I can log in normally through Firefox, so this appears to be a problem with Reddit’s security challenge in one established Chrome profile.

iOS [Ios] I cannot upvote posts or comments- version 26.5.2

For the past several days, my account has been unable to upvote posts or comments. Posting and commenting still work normally. I’ve already tried reinstalling the app, logging out/in, and using different networks. Could you please investigate whether there’s an account restriction or a bug affecting my voting?

Thank you.

Desktop Web [desktop web] Posts have been flagged by crowd control for weeks

This is the fourth bug post I am making here. It's only affecting one subreddit. Have posted in several others just fine.

I had been posting just fine for months, and then all of a sudden my posts were getting flagged. The critera for crowd control doesn't seem to fit me, the subreddit doesn't use approved users. So I'm all ??????

If I try to post something on my new account, the post isn't visible; furthermore, I can't view my own account, and it isn't visible to other users either.

Android I can't find a pattern of behavior, but some messages I write on Reddit aren't published. I use Chrome on an Android device.

For about a year now, some of the posts I submit haven't been showing up on Reddit. I can see them when I’m logged in, but no one else can. This happens without any moderator intervention (I haven't received a message from the automoderator or a moderator either.)—meaning the content isn't being censored for violating Reddit's rules; it simply isn't visible. I usually post in the same subreddits, and I’ve had my account for several years. I have over 350 karma points. I’ve asked a moderator a couple of times, but they haven’t been able to give me an explanation. They simply verify that I’m a normal user—meaning I’m not a bot—and that there’s nothing unusual about my account.

I’m hesitant to post more often because I’m afraid my posts won't be visible; it seems to happen at random. Why does it affect some posts but not others? I don't know if it's a bug or if it's just happening to me. The posts I try to submit aren't offensive and don't violate Reddit's rules. So, why is this happening?

Note: I usually write from the same device—a tablet running Android 13—and use the Google Chrome browser.

Here is an example: this is what I see without logging in. I am replying to the user Loudsunyoyo.

And this is what I see when I log in:

Thanks for your help.

iOS (IOS)Unable to see profile’s post or comments - Version 2026.29.0

So I have been facing this issue since more than a year now. Whenever I have a profile that I see on a random post or comment section and I want to go check out their other post or comments, I can’t see anything. It shows there are no post or comments. Is there any fix for this? I thought this would get fixed but I’m still facing this issue.

Mobile Web [mobile web] Entire page gets disabled by an ad for the Reddit App a few seconds after loading

Post image
5 Upvotes

I'm calling this a bug cos it means I can't actually use Reddit links to answer questions that I google, because this stupid overlay completely disables everything else on screen after a few seconds. Can't even swipe up to get access to browser controls because this overlay eats those inputs! I have to exit out of Firefox and then open the app again to either refresh the page and buy a little more time, or to hit the back button and GTFO.

Yeah yeah, I'm sure the devs are intending this to push people to the app. But what it's _actually_ doing is pushing me to stop clicking on answers from Reddit in my google searches! Why would I bother when you make the experience an absolute pain to use?
