Hi all! I received a job offer at fort Sam’s and am relocating from Kansas City. I have family who lives in buda, which would be a long commute daily. What are some areas you’d recommend for a young family that is somewhere in between. Thanks for any input!

Hi! My SO is 60 and im a few yrs younger. We're looking at places to move that we can have some land but close to an HEB or Costco. Where we can park an RV? Close to the airport and hospitals and maybe a few minutes to/from Austin, where one of our children lives. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Hi I’m looking for recommendations for a regular pet walker for my elderly dog. (9 year old 65 lb mixed breed) My work schedule is changing to four 12 hour days a week, and I don’t want to leave him home alone waiting all day for a potty break. I’m hesitant to use Rover/Wag from all the negative stories of neglect, theft, and animal abuse. I’d also prefer to use a local more well known business. If you also know what four 20 minutes walk a week might cost I’d appreciate that insight as well. He has some barrier reactivity, but is not aggressive towards people, just apprehensive of other dogs while on walks due to being attacked before. There’s a large low populated area around my apartment that is easy to navigate that issue. I also have 2 cats but they won’t require attention.

Does anyone recognize this incredibly affectionate little guy? I've never seen him around the neighborhood before, and he's SO friendly that I'm betting he's got humans somewhere that are missing him. Please message me if he's yours!

I grew up in Dripping Springs for the most part. My father had a PO Box at the Post Office location on Main Street in Buda. On Saturdays dad would pack my sister and I in the truck to take us grocery shopping with him (he was the coupon clipper). On those trips he’d swing by Buda to check the PO Box.
Sometimes we’d stop by the car wash up the road, and my sister and I would wander around picking up pennies on the ground. And sometimes we’d go further up the road to this burger place that I THINK was called “Hamburger Express”.
If I remember right it was located a little bit behind a gas station and was made out of a train car? I think the caboose? And it had an awning built over a little dining area (think food truck but made of a rail car).
I can’t find ANY photos of the place online, no fond memories, no information on if it moved somewhere else, or if the cooks/owners changed the name to a new business, or maybe took their menu elsewhere, etc.
I’m just looking for people to share memories (and hopefully photos) of this place that only exists vaguely in my recollection…

The water tower south of downtown, the one next to the train tracks has no red light on top. Should I report it if so to who
