Hello everyone, long time no see. As many of you may have noticed, Brave Frontier has a new entry in the franchise, Brave Frontier Versus. It's been a hot topic on the subreddit recently, and while we've unofficially allowed it, on paper this subreddit was only about Brave Frontier 1. We've talked it over as a mod team and decided to change that today.
Rule 1 has been updated to allow for discussion of all Brave Frontier franchise games on this subreddit, provided that you flair them appropriately. When posting content that is not related to Brave Frontier 1, always select the relevant game content thread instead of other flair.
I have made an attempt to flair existing posts appropriately. Users who aren't interested in non BF1 content can simply view the subreddit excluding these new flairs. We hope that this will improve everyone's community experience!

What is a QoL improvement or feature you hope makes it to the game?
More recent gatcha games have implemented pitty systems, BF Japan implemented a way to just outright buy the unit you wanted instead of the randomized gate pulls to avoid the gambling legality that Japan enforces, but I don’t really see that making it’s way to global.
A pitty shop that lets you pick a unit only from the current running banner after 50 failed pulls would be a huge improvement over BF1 and only having RNG luck.

Thought about this the other night and had to dig this back up

I wanted to highlight some things from the preview site that I've noticed to better get an idea of what to expect. Of course we're getting the Alim AMA later this month and the next reveal at the beginning of September, but I still think it'd be neat to dissect what we have as it comes out.
With that all said, I don't think we can expect a 1 for 1 remake of the original Brave Frontier anymore (if we even were), but rather a "Brave Frontier Plus" with all the "best" features of BF, BF2, and potentially FFBE. I'm sure a bunch of people have already come to that conclusion, but again, this post is to help better understand just what that might end up being. Let me know what you think and feel free to give your thoughts!

Let's make things clear, THERE IS NO DOWNLOAD ... YET!!!
This is a project I started on my own after stubling upon a hidden gem on Github ... big thx to arves100 for the amazing work did in the past ... and here we are starting from that "little" we can find online like a nearly full dump of the assets from a 2.19.x client version and something we can call a PoC, the dummy local server by arves100, yeah very "little" stuff no ?!
This project of mine aims to bring back Grand Gaia's splendor, a project that is free, has no-ads, no microtransaction shits and a lot of invested time and brain cells for you all... hopefully!
You can find a preview here: https://youtu.be/5drI4ZQqmv0
The original Android APK was used for testing after applying a few patches here and there!

What is known, ive not completely kept up. Last thing I want is to get hyped, and end up with some Puzzle game or something.

Found some more old screenshots some in Japanese as I would play on both servers (I would get impatient and want to get new units and Jap exclusive units)

I first saw the game through an ad while playing Pocket Planes and immediately downloaded it because it looked really cool. I chose Vargas as my starter because he looked the coolest in said ad, and to my luck he ended up being Anima.
My first rare summon was a Guardian Mega, who I evolved at every opportunity but unfortunately didn't see him to his 7*.
I remember my first friend on the game who also chose Vargas, who quit soon after 6*s released.
I stood up until 3AM on a school night farming St. Lamia for a Fire Idol to finally evolve my Vargas to 5*. I was dead tired that morning but it was worth it to finally get the unit I had my eyes on from the start.
Magress was the second of the Six Heroes I got, and through a random honor summon rather than trying to farm him through Oboro's event. He was a Lord who I eventually evolved to 7* to help me breeze through the other Fallen Gods' trials.
Being a dumb teenager at the time, I charged $400 to my phone bill because Google Play gave the option to back then. I just kept buying gems like "free money!" without realizing what was actually being charged.
Rowgen was the final piece of the puzzle for me to finally beat Maxwell's trial since I didn't have any other infinite BBer.
Waking up and scanning the huge spreadsheet to see that I made it onto Global's raid beta tester list was such an amazing feeling, and being able to claim Owen right away on the actual release made me feel even cooler.
This one's a minor one, but I was also chosen to test out Global's live chat support. They'd enter the chat and act like the character they were, and when I first tried it I got paired with Xenon. It was especially funny to have to explain that I accidentally fused my actual Xenon away and was thusly scolded for using him as fusion material (in good fun, of course). I ended up getting him back in the end, thank you agent Xenon.
Finally, I remember being wished happy birthday by the official Facebook page after showing off that I got the gem daily reward on it.
Unfortunately I couldn't stay hooked on for long because of school, but still loosely followed the game and checked in from time to time. This game and its community are the reasons I'm pursuing my goals and aspirations today, and I couldn't be any more excited that they're bringing it back. I've been looking through all the content I've missed and reliving the stuff I've played through via YouTube. I'm looking forward to not only taking this journey again, but actually being able to see it through to the end this time!

Too bad I don't have any really old photos as my old phone got fried. Still, these really take me back. Proud to be f2p til the very end.

Seeing this makes me miss the UI. Don't recall any instance where QoLs were really needed or maybe that's nostalgia talking.

With all of the hype around Brave Frontier origin and the Last Cloudia collab I’ve recently tried my best to find old screenshots and this is all I’ve been able to find. I’m glad I found them but wish I had more atleast of my Home Screen. These were just a few I found that I had sent to my friend that played with me. These were from 2017.

I see people posting their screenshot of BF, and I wanna do the same, but sadly all of the devices I ever had that I played BF on were destroyed in some manner and I forgot to take screenshots of it on my phone before it shut down 😭😭

Like many I jumped in for the Collab event and was lucky enough to pull everything here from the free tickets during the event. Missed the ark though with the heroes. How did everyone else fair?
