Discussion / Question Does anyone else dream of Bluey?
Last night I dreamed there were a few episodes where Jean-Luc comes to Bluey's house to play, and I made a post on this subreddit complaining that this undermines the events and lesson of Camping (which weren't retconned) 😆
In the same dream there was also an episode that ended with an elderly Bluey visiting her daughter who was grown up!

Discussion / Question Special Way Bluey Helps me Feel Seen
I’m a 31 year old, childfree, single woman who absolutely adores watching Bluey. I’m currently working in social work while finishing my doctorate, so Bluey is a really peaceful, calming, show that I just adore for the simplistic, yet in-depth stories it tells.
One unique way in which the show has really touched my life is the age representation of the adults on the show. I feel like a lot of times, media portrays young families where the parents aren’t even 30 or are in their early 30s with toddlers/young kids.
There are plenty of real life families like that and I am glad that they can feel seen, but it’s nice to see a show where these characters are portrayed as over forty years old and still trying to figure themselves and life out.
I grew up in the rural southern USA, so a lot of the people I grew up with are already married and raising their families. I am definitely happy for them, but I often feel like I’m behind. In many ways, I still live like a young 20s college student. I have a roommate and an apartment off campus but close by, and I’m still working on my degree and trying to figure out where my path will lead me.
I had a relationship I thought was my happy ending, but it wasn’t, so now I feel like in many ways I’m back to square one…and Bluey tells me that’s okay.
Frisky got to be a beautiful bride and have her fairytale, and she’s heavily implied to be the same age as chili (so mid-40s) but she looked as radiant as any youthful Disney princess on her big day.
Brandy is the big sister who had to watch her little sister accomplish all these things she wanted for herself more than anything…and this show told her it wasn’t too late.
Again, I know I’ve made this cartoon dog family a bigger deal than it needs to be, and again, please don’t think this post is mocking or looking down upon these younger families…you all are doing great as Coco’s mum would say.

Discussion / Question In fairy tale episode, what is Bandits dad doing?
Its set on like a Holiday camp in the 80s, he has this like drill device?
Does anyone know what it is, and why is he utilising it on holiday?

Humour Every. Single. Time.
Every time I watch Bluey with my kids, I feel a slurry of emotions. Feelings of contentment with my kids, sadness from childhood trauma, and the overall engrossment of the stories gets me, every, single, time.

Discussion / Question Which episode is this image from?
Solved! It's from Daddy Robot!
At first I thought it was from Born Yesterday but it doesn't appear to be so (unless I missed something during my watch?). It's been bugging me. Oh and this is an official Bluey phone wallpaper image, if anyone's wondering.

Video Game Stuck in the Bluey Video Game
This is kind of an embarrassing question because I'm in my 30s and can't seem to master a game designed for kids. 🫣
My 4 year old and I have been really enjoying the Xbox game, but now we're completely stuck.
We've collected everything in the Heeler house and unlocked the playground. At the playground, we're only missing one collectible: the fruitcake on top of the street lamp.
I found a YouTube video that shows you need to use Bandit on the trampoline to reach it, but the trampoline seems to have disappeared in my game. When I check the toy box, the trampoline is completely grayed out. I've searched the entire playground multiple times, and it's not there. I don't see it back at the Heeler house either.
I can't figure out how to progress from here. I haven’t triggered any of the story sequences or quests in a while so we are just aimlessly wandering. My kid and I are both getting pretty frustrated. 😩 Am I missing something or does this sound like a glitch? Is there another way to continue the game without collecting every item in the playground?

Humour The Most Realistic Moment
The most realistic moment in the show as a mom of two is in “Camping” when Chili takes Bingo to do a wee in the middle of the night and Bluey tags along. Bluey leans against Chili while she’s helping Bingo and I’ve never felt more seen, as my 3 year old regularly sits in my lap while I’m feeding my 5 month old.
Signed, an overstimulated mom.
