I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve enjoyed these ports more than anything COD has released since BO3. The reason is simple; instead of paying $20+ for the right to unlock the same guns/cosmetics as everyone else, I can actually set meaningful goals to grind towards rather than completing monotonous challenges to get to the next tier of slop. Grinding for camos feels meaningful again. It feels exciting to unlock new attachments knowing someone else didn’t buy them to get ahead. I’m quite sad that gaming will probably never go back the way things should be, and that buying a game doesn’t give you the right to everything in the game anymore. But for now I’ll enjoy this glimpse into how good we had it a decade ago.

They’ve knocked me down to a 2.11 KD whereas in all the cods I’ve played (bo3, ww2, Ghosts, IW) I’ve averaged over a 3. Not because I’m worse, (I’m not) the connection and hit detection is abhorrent. Somehow Bo1, an older game, has a much better connection and multiplayer overall but the deadzone issue is so bad I won’t even touch the game.

I probably suck but it seems like 60 percent of the lobby players are using snipers and ome shot me all the time. I think they are too Op.

How I feel reading the posts here lately. Been having fun and haven't run across an obivous hacker in MP so far, but I bought this port mainly for zombies so if it gets out of hand I can play that instead. *side note, MP seems smoother since I was able to UDP port forward to 3074 and static IP my PS5, so my NAT is Open now.

For context, the way I learned to play Zombies was because of my brother. He has over 800 hours in Zombies, but he was never really a big Easter Egg player. He mostly grinded high rounds. The first game where he actually started doing Easter Eggs was BO6, and he completed every Easter Egg on that game.

When BO2 came out on PS5, he told me I should start learning it. I think I have a real talent for video games when I'm passionate enough to learn them.

The only map I had really played before was Town. We got to round 40 and then ended the game. After that, we went straight to Origins. My brother already knew the map perfectly, but going from a small map like Town straight to Origins was overwhelming. We spent that session just learning the map. My brother built a couple of the staffs for me, and we reached round 30 on Easy difficulty so I could learn everything properly before ending the session.

Before I went to sleep, I watched videos and learned every single Easter Egg step so I could build the staffs and complete the steps without relying on my brother. We decided to split the work between us.

Today was actually my first time attempting the steps myself. I didn't even do a solo Easy run to practice—I only watched videos. After four failed attempts, I learned a lot of things that were obvious to my brother but completely new to me. Eventually, we finally did it.

My brother coached me really well, but we also forgot some pretty important things during the boss fight:

After killing 100 zombies and the flash appears, you can pick your staffs back up.

As soon as the flash appeared, my brother should have thrown a G-Strike to give us time to pick up our staffs and buy ourselves a few extra seconds.

We didn't even know the correct angle to interact with the beam. We stood directly in front of it wondering why the prompt wouldn't appear, but eventually I figured out the right angle, and we got it.

I'm really proud of us. We completed the Origins Easter Egg on round 27.

Hello, i am having a problem with matchmaking And lobby finding, everytime i start finding a match it just goes into Infinitly searching And nothing happens, not even putting me into empty lobby, i have NAT open And also tried moderate as well. I have UPNP on. In BO1 i have 0 problems only in BO2 i can't find matches, tried every gamemode. Is someone else having the same issues? Im from EU, specifically from czech if its any help.

Thought this would take a long time to get. Didn’t expect to get it on FFA in slums, I remember it being a pain back in the day. What camos is everyone going for? And what do you think you’re gonna struggle with
