Hi! I’m visiting the Bennington area and wanted to bring home great cider to share with my friends (we are doing a tasting at the end of the month for our Wine and more club).

Any recommendations would be welcome! I see that there are some local spots but couldn’t tell when they were open.

Interested in hard cider and non-alcoholic. Tend to like less sweet drinks but some of my friends adore the sugary ice wine types too.

For the past 4 nights I have been smelling woodsmoke between 10pm til approximately 2am. Has anyone else encountered this? I live near the four corners.

Hi! I’m a rising senior getting ready to apply to colleges, and Bennington has caught my attention because of its unique academic approach and picturesque campus. I’m a straight male from a mixed-race background, and I was wondering if it would be hard to make friends and find a community. I’ve heard that the student body includes a large number of women and LGBTQ+ students. I’m also interested in law after undergrad, though I’m still exploring my options. Is there lots to do on campus and the surrounding area?

The match is at 10 PM on a Thursday night, and a quick Google search hasn't turned up any establishments that are open that late. Any suggestions?

I move to Bennington in August for a job at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center. I'm from Texas so I know nothing about Vermont, talk less of a small town like Bennington so I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips in the housing process. I'm looking for an apartment (willing to share) that is about $600 to $900 a month per person (I get paid like two cents a century) in a neighborhood that is close to the hospital and safe.

Please let me know if you guys have any tips on where to start the search, I've heard Bennington doesn't have that many corporate landlords so I'm a little lost.

Also, please give me the rundown of Bennington as well, where is safe, where ifs friendly, where is not. Just anything you feel that is important, I'd love to hear it.

I am attending the Middlebury summer language school in Bennington College this year (Portuguese). My partner plans to visit for a few days during the middle of the summer program. He is Brazilian, so his visit will not break the language pledge. He will have a rental car, and I myself do not have a license, so I do not see anyway to register the car in advance for parking. Does anyone know of convenient places to park for free overnight walking distance from Bennington college?

Hey - just a general question but all my phone calls and emails are going unanswered. Anyone have any knowledge of this HOA in Bennington county? I'm house hunting in the area and I want to know if they allow backyard chickens/what the rules are? And anything else I need to look out for?

Hi there. My wife and I recently purchased a home in the area and we are looking for someone to survey property lines. It’s a weird situation and the neighbors to the property we have purchased cut down a lot of what I believe was our land prior to us purchasing and we just want to check without breaking the bank.

I’m So surprised there isnt more outrage and chatter about what’s going on with ucs! The whole community is being impacted by poor leadership and now this massive payback. It’s so crazy!

Does anyone know the timeline of when construction will begin on the luxury resort planned for the old SVC campus? I enjoy using the BATS trails, and haven't seen much activity from the new owners there the past couple years. I'm also curious if the parking for the trails is going to move elsewhere?
