FILM DISCUSSION What's something Nolan did better than Reeves?
since I've seen it asked what reeves did better, what did nolan do better than reeves?
in my opinion, he was better at balancing the darkness of his films with levity. i feel his supporting cast was also better

VIDEO Official Trailer for ‘Clayface’ Has Been Released
DC has officially released the first trailer for Clayface, revealing a darker, body horror-inspired take on one of Batman's most iconic villains. The trailer showcases unsettling transformations, eerie visuals, and a much more grounded tone. Clayface is set to release in theaters on October 23. What are your thoughts on this interpretation of the character?

GENERAL DISCUSSION The reason why Batman gets hate for not killing Joker is because Joker is treated as evil incarnate and a plot device rather than a character.

VIDEO GAME DISCUSSION Honestly Arkham Asylum's Joker has one of the best Joker designs ever, it's cartoony looking yet has a unnerving sinister edge to it.

GENERAL DISCUSSION A middleweight Batman makes a lot more sense than a heavyweight one
Hi! I see for example in the Arkham series videogames, or also in the Dark knight trilogy, that Batman is basically a heavyweight. In my opinion a middleweight one makes a lot more sense, since Batman is basically an acrobat. In real life an heavyweight, even a professional elite athlete, would drain their stamina in a couple minutes doing what Batman does on average. What do you think?

GENERAL DISCUSSION Do the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles know Batman's secret identity?
I've seen this panel from one of the Batman/TMNT crosovers circulating around the internet. I haven't read the comic that it is from, but it has become a meme because of the absurd juxtaposition between the gritty dialogue and the fact that he's talking to a giant turtle.
Every time I see it though, it makes me wonder... do the Turtles know that Batman is Bruce Wayne? If not, isn't it kind of risky to divulge information about his parents, since they could probably do a very small amount of research and figure out that his parents were probably Thomas and Martha Wayne, making Batman Bruce Wayne?
If they already knew his identity, does anybody know how they found it out?
I'm just genuinely curious why Batman would recklessly share information that could potentially reveal his true identity to some random turtles he barely knows.

GENERAL DISCUSSION Why do you think there are so many people who are specifically against Batman for his "no killing rule"?
What i mean is that, there are other heroes that don't kill, such as Spiderman or Daredevil, but people don't seem to have an issue with them, but the moment Batman is brought up to the conversation, people start to have a problem with his no killing rule. Maybe that's because they might consider that Batman's villains are too dangerous to be left alive, but I would argue that there are some Spiderman villains who are arguably much more dangerous. Overall, my main complain is that, when other heroes spare their villains, it seems as something heroic, but when Batman does the same, suddenly that is an issue

FIGURINES The Villains at Arkham
I made this diorama way back in the COVID days when I was on funemployment, but I thought I’d share a new picture with the updated characters.
Most of the figures are the original DC Collectables line but I’m super thankful to McFarlane Toys for releasing a Ventriloquist & Scarface that doesn’t cost a fortune to add to the display! (Clayface, HARDAC, Gordon, Batgirl, Ra's al Ghul, Talia, Bullock and Montoya are the McFarlane versions as well.)

This redesign is actually mostly inspired by me looking at a mirror while I was in the middle of taking out my cornrows, with the colors being loosely inspired by his og orange and purple suit, but with the BTAS blue skin instead of green, wich i preffer.
