The shapes, including the pin itself, are uneven, symbolic of life being uneven and imperfect also. The shimmery soft yellow symbolizes a moon(child), perhaps sometimes seemingly broken and sad yet always shining in the night

Pin 2. Into The Sun: hard enamel, circle diameter approx 1 " with the little piece at the bottom sticking out approx 0.25", pale orange field, the sun and its rays a darker orange soft glitter, the path a darker orange as well but no glitter. Base metal is golden. Metal clasp on the back.
No subtle symbolism; just straightforward "I'll follow you into the sun" vibes but I did want the coloring to be more pale and soft rather than loud and brash, to, in my mind, emphasize the soft ballad aspect of the song

Pin 3. Equal Sign: hard enamel, approx. 1" width, dark blue equal sign on a bright green field, inside the blue equal sign are smaller equal signs in diverse colors. Base metal is a dark silver color. Metal clasp on the back. To me, it symbolizes inclusivity (the equal signs within the larger equal sign) and diversity (all the different colors).
Inspired by the lyrics of the entire song.
