My Journey I think I'm calling it here

After blazing the trail for 3.5 years I'm calling it here. I didn't find bliss or one mind but I found the strength and strategy to make it going forward. I'm finally competent in social dynamics which used to be my greatest wish. I'm competent in a lot of things and I'm extremely happy. My friends and family who pay attention has noticed the change. Those who didn't can and will still be loved.

So what I'm doing now is riding the boat with the river. There's nothing else I can or even want to do. Life continues to have immense pain and taking away but I go through it knowing I'm riding the boat. You won't always love the boat... you can't, otherwise you risk being dishonest that the moment hurts.

I don't know what awakening is and at this point the topic has become so ingrained in my ritual of being awake every moment that it's become a color I see in everything. I don't really think of awakening anymore.

My Journey Has anyone else realised the point isn't just to search within... but to come back out?

In my experience, a lot of spiritual teachings encourage us to search within, and I think that's valuable.

But somewhere along the way I realised the inner journey isn't the whole journey.

If what I discover within doesn't help me be a kinder partner, a better friend, a more patient parent, or simply more accepting of being human, then I wonder if I've missed something.

For me, the real practice isn't just going inward—it's bringing whatever I find back into everyday life.

Search within...

Then don't forget to come back out.

I'm curious how others see this. Does inner work naturally lead back to ordinary human life, or do you see it differently?

Reflection The Stories That Became Our Prison

Our disease as a species is our relentless attachment to stories, ego and identity. It leaves us incapable of experiencing the fundamental oneness of the universe.

We are unable to experience life with the same immediacy as animals do. Instead we become trapped inside narratives about who we are, what happened to us, what we want, and what everything is supposed to mean.

We may do many things to loosen the grip of this condition but it will remain with us until our final breath.

Creationists love to call the human body perfect and praise it as the product of intelligent design. But what is intelligent about a mind that constantly generates its own turmoil and then must spend its life trying to escape it?

So much suffering is nothing more than the body and mind becoming trapped inside a meaningless story they cannot release without feeling as though their very survival is threatened.

I do not call that perfection. I call it a disease.

It is a disease that helped place us at the top of the food chain. It served evolution, but I do not believe it serves consciousness in any meaningful way. But that's just my perspective, i cannot see the bigger picture of this. I'm not Brahman.

Deep down we know life is already difficult, yet we make it far worse by humiliating, exploiting, controlling and crushing one another.

Religious people do not long for heaven for no reason. For many it is the only imaginable relief from the suffering human beings inflict upon each other.

It is time to confront the oppressors, expose their actions, reveal their manipulation and cruelty and strip abusive people and institutions of the authority that allows them to keep causing harm.

My Journey Help getting back to every day life after healing journey

Hey all. I’m 48F, UK. I’ve been on a four year healing journey and am currently at the back end (hopefully) of the difficult parts.

With the help of psilocybin, I have processed lots of childhood trauma and am no longer in a constant nervous system stress response. I’m off on long term sick from work as I am coming off all the medication I was on as I know I don’t need it anymore. It was keeping me sicker. All is going in the right direction; it’s been tough but I feel I’m over the worst now. I have changed my perspective on pretty much everything. I am optimistic about my future for the first time in my life.

However, I am struggling with the thought of going back to my life, e.g. work, with this new perspective. And understanding that even though I have healed my trauma, I am not miraculously suddenly going to want to socialise with groups of people, that sort of thing. I’m feeling a bit lost.

My post is to ask if anyone has any reading or watching material that can help me with this transition as I know I have to go on chopping the wood and carrying the water but I don’t quite understand how I’m supposed to do that and be true to myself.

Advice would be good too. Please be kind. I’ve never posted about this before and I am extremely emotionally raw at the minute. Thank you.

We will never ever know what happens after death.

Some say there’s nothing after death. Just gone in the oblivion. Some say we go back to the source. 👀

Reflection Paralysis

Somehow life is better than ever, I see clearly and knowing what I know makes me accept myself truly and in ways I never have before. Yet I am lay here paralysed filled with guilt and existential dread. The feeling fills me and I pretend like it’s all I know, I start to believe it is all that I am and could ever be.

My brain commands. My eye searches. We don’t find anything. That’s the whole point. I’m partly writing this to remind myself but there is always a part of me hoping someone will say the right thing and something profound will click that might remove what I’m convincing myself needs to go.

So many choices. Something tells me the best one is a cheese toastie (grilled cheese) and One Piece. But what about everything else that is waiting for my action? “How dare you relax” it says.

Reflection things i’ve learned— men, women, power dynamics, spirituality & art

it’s all about authenticity,
to know who you are
and to be completely aware of where/who you’ve been
not necessarily to be grounded in the reality that nothing can change, but accepting that you are who you are

being a 20 year old girl in the music/entertainment industry, what i’ve learned—
to truly listen to others first
my perception might be naive or young now, but through spirituality & the knowledge i’ve gained
true authentic confidence comes from within.

knowing who you are
and reminding yourself to remember who we truly all are..
souls having a human experience
and our mission is to shine our most authentic highest timeline light to others.. no matter if they think we’re delusional or dumb or naive

to be humble & grateful & authentic, ego may occupy at times, but truth will always lead. always tell your truth in your art. for there is no absolute truth except for energy— art is a direct vessel for that authenticity.

nature vs nurture,
we can’t escape the reality we’ve lived, but we can accept & grow
to manifest is to understand + allow ourselves to timeline jump
but in order to leap, we must accept
in order to grow, we must allow changes to be seen & apparent.

and being “ourselves”, to be a good human, to genuinely treat others as you would want them to treat you.. the golden rule, and being grateful. and positive outlooks, realizing manifestation is possible, that everything & anything can be a manifestation on our ends.

it all starts from belief.
and to allow ourselves to even believe in something delusional to our current reality is the first step of breaking out of the current cycle looped.

but to find that truth & authenticity within. i am learning that again, after years of masking and people pleasing.

i am finally coming back to myself and re-learning who i am and who i was. from childhood, to each era ive gone through, to dictate & differentiate : taste from identity.

letting go of how ive been programmed or subconsciously programmed myself to act or react. but to see what is truly authentic within me, and what that means for me in society.

in a time like this, the most radical thing we can do is to be ourselves, to be kind and to be a light to such dark times. it may feel hard, and it can be hard at times.. but light will always shine in a dark place. and i truly believe all will be seen soon..

how do you feel & any advice on what it means to be truly authentic in this world? spiritual & not—as an artist especially in such a trend-based, fast-paced industry. what are tips or advice you can give to a young 20 year old navigating this life?

🤍 love to all

Metaphysical Glossary (I): Consciousness

Consciousness is being. More specifically, it is the sense of being, in the sense only a being can have a sense of being. Thomas Nagel's famous formulation in What Is It Like to Be a Bat? is that for a conscious organism there is "something it is like" to be that organism: a subjective point of view. This is a useful starting point.

In Advaita Vedanta, consciousness is not a property possessed by something else but the foundation of experience and, ultimately, reality itself. It is named Brahman and traditionally described as sat-cit-ananda: existence, consciousness, and limitlessness.

Existence is difficult to discuss because whatever we discuss is already presented as something that exists. Consciousness is the precondition for anything to be known or experienced. This resembles Berkeley's famous esse est percipi ("to be is to be perceived"), although Advaita does not simply adopt Berkeley's subjective idealism. Consciousness is not one object among others, but the condition in which objects are known.

Kant's point that existence is not a real predicate is relevant here. The discussion itself proves that in one form or another the concept has already been known. To say that something exists does not add another property to its concept. It is being that takes name and form, not the name and form that take being.

Knowing is the apprehension of distinctions: this is not that, sustained by the recognition that this is this. It is Deleuze's main point in Difference and Repetition. In modern terms, one might speak of information processing, perception, memory, and discrimination, but these are descriptions of mental processes rather than definitions of consciousness itself. Consciousness is that in which knowing occurs. A knowing stripped to it's most naked fundamental, immediacy, unmediated perceiving before memory or sense.

Limitlessness clarifies the other two. Whatever can be completely excluded from consciousness cannot be presented as an object of thought or discussion. Whatever is an object of knowledge is already present within consciousness. Consciousness cannot become an object to itself. This characteristic is what the Drg-Drsya-viveka text uses: discrimination between the seer and the seen. It is also why the neti-neti "not this, not that" method can also point at it.

Consciousness should not be confused with sentience, which usually refers to an organism's ability of reacting to it's environment through agency. Nor should consciousness be confused with self-consciousness, which is awareness of oneself as an object or subject. A being may be conscious without possessing a sophisticated concept of itself.

Again, consciousness is the sense of being before the particular qualification "I am this." It might be loosely compared with Heidegger's Dasein, a being-in-the-world before any concepts are applied. Being before the what and where.

In summary, we should retain from this explanation that consciousness is fundamental with nothing that precedes it, that there's a relationship between being, existing and knowing, and that it works one-way in the sense it cannot become an object to itself.

Reflected consciousness shall be discussed at a later time.

-

Suffice to say, this is the way I make sense of the term. Every glossary of spiritual terminology must by it's own nature favor a metaphysical model, and I won't shy away from acknowledging mine is in here. Have in mind, those who don't understand why newspapers have opinion pages, the purpose of presenting my understanding is not to replace but to inform yours by showing the backlogs of philosophy and tradition in which it is grounded.

Reflection A Lighter Way

A Lighter Way

I cannot carry
every heart.

The weight
would stop us both.

But perhaps
I can leave
a small lantern

beside the road.

A thought.

A poem.

A gentler way
to see.

Then each traveler

may set down
one unnecessary stone,

and continue

a little lighter

than before.

Reflection Did Christianity and Islam Arise to Counter Buddhism? Just a Thought

Who else feels this?

I feel that Christianity and Islam — these religions — were crafted specifically to counter Buddhism.

Because I have read and heard many times, repeatedly, from UFO communities and other discussions, about the existence of extraterrestrial or interdimensional beings that feed on human suffering, and also feed on people’s energy that comes from suffering.

And after Buddhism — which started around 500 years before these religions — began to spread widely across the world, there was no other religion immediately after it at first. But then, after it started spreading more and more, new religions suddenly appeared — Christianity and Islam, and also Judaism.

And these religions teach almost the opposite of what Buddha taught.

Buddhism teaches not to believe blindly, but to seek, to experience, and to understand truth directly for yourself. It teaches letting go of attachment, reducing desire, and ending suffering through awareness.

But in Christianity and Islam, they teach belief and faith as central. They teach obedience to a higher authority, following commandments, and accepting teachings as truth. There is also emphasis on judgment, heaven and hell, reward and punishment, and dependence on a higher power.

So in that way, they feel completely opposite in approach — one is about direct understanding and inner freedom, and the others are about belief, authority, and external guidance.

Also, you can see that Buddhism was never really interested in numbers or in converting people in a forceful or aggressive way. It spread more through teaching and personal understanding.

But these religions were very interested in converting people and increasing their numbers. They spread across the world by converting large populations. And I feel like this also created a kind of blockade against Buddhism spreading further.

So I feel these religions were created to counter Buddhism.

Because Buddhism teaches how to free yourself from suffering, how to overcome it, and how to transform yourself. And if there are beings that feed on human suffering, then naturally they would feel threatened by that.

So I think these beings may have influenced or crafted these religions.

Because if you look at Christianity and Islam, there is always some higher being — some God — speaking, giving commands, telling people what to do. And I feel like those could actually be these same beings that feed on suffering.

And you can see in history how much suffering has come from these religions — how many wars were created, how many people were killed.

Islam also destroyed Buddhist centers like Nalanda University. And I feel like behind that, there may have been these same forces influencing people to destroy Buddhist knowledge and centers.

And if you look at major wars — like World War 1 and World War 2 — these wars all happened in the context of Christianity. And even the wars happening today, in one way or another, are still connected to these religious divisions.

So when I connect all of this, I feel like:

these religions were created to oppose Buddhism, to maintain suffering, and to prevent people from fully freeing themselves.

I’m not saying this is 100% true. This is just how it looks to me.

What do you think?

Help Looking to Connect Before the European Rainbow Gathering 🌈

Hey everyone!

I'm David, a filmmaker from the Netherlands.

This August I'm planning to visit the European Rainbow Gathering in Spain. I've always been fascinated by unique communities and stories, and besides that I'm on my own spiritual journey as well. Together with my love for interviewing people and making immersive YouTube videos, it feels like the right time to experience a Rainbow Gathering myself.

My goal is to document the Gathering in a respectful way and let people tell their own stories. Of course, I want to do everything respectfully. Once I'm there, I'll bring my project to the Main Circle and ask for consensus before filming, and I'll respect the community's wishes.

I'm looking for people who would be open to being interviewed during the Gathering. I'd much rather connect beforehand than walk up to random people with a camera. If you're open to sharing your story, your experience with Rainbow, or simply having a conversation, I'd love to hear from you.

If you've ever been to a Rainbow Gathering before, I'd love to connect with you as well. I'd be happy to do an online interview before August to hear about your experiences and learn more before I arrive.

The final video will be in Dutch, but all conversations will be in English. I'd love to introduce the Rainbow Family to a Dutch audience in an honest and respectful way.

Whether you're planning to attend this year or you've been to a Rainbow Gathering before, feel free to send me a message. I'd love to connect!

You can also reach me by email at [[email protected]]().

Reflection month in isolation, maybe a new awakening — into womanhood

recently i had an opportunity to go to los angeles, i am an artist and do music so i was staying and creating music at a home studio.

i am a 20 year old girl, and was surrounded by men 4-7 years older than me for the entire month.

learning and trying to be as friendly but as “cool” as possible, (looking back there was a lot of unhealed wounds/ego creeping in conversations) but also trying to do my best in the power dynamics that are “la creatives”

i’ve been learning & trying to embody what true divine femininity means or what true authenticity means for a while now.. manifesting my life & all the things that have come in.

but to the point of all this prefacing, i encountered a soul that i truly thought i connected to.. i felt safe, i felt heard, and i completely attached immediately. showing my true authentic but also very repressed self, it was very competitive at first (us both doing music and having very strong opinions/knowledge) , but was ultimately in awe every time we’d create such beautiful art together..

we’d smoke & do other drugs, but everyday i felt so free and so alive.. maybe it was a coping mechanism of escapism.. but things have shifted after coming back home and away from them

learning that they didn’t truly care for me all this time, and feeling very used.. i had been too naive & young, indulgent & impulsive..

and after lots of learning i can come to the point realizing it was either a narcissist or a fake twin flame.

i’ve never understood or thought a true twin flame could come into my life, but this just showed something greater and more important to learn.

to always put yourself first, i was giving away my energy, my love, letting go of all of my boundaries simply because i thought it was fate..
my heart was getting too ahead of itself and somehow convinced my headstrong brian in the process..

i am letting go of my energy, but through this experience i have learned so much and wanted to document and share with you all..

i am a very spiritual person and always have been, but for a while i was so lost and brought into such a worldly way of thinking—
thoughts i’ve formed as a young woman working in a creative field
but also how to communicate/be spiritual in a world of ego & brokenness.. learning a lot, but also forming clarity day by day

we’re always learning!
and we’re always living!
lots to digress, lots to interpret, lots to learn .. <3

what do you all think & what are some advice you could give with what is possible i have felt etc? i’m not sure, feeling quite lost but also at the brink of something greater ..

Help Do you think a wellness and healing retreat would be good for my situation?

I literally cannot fucking deal with all my trauma, abuse, mental health problems and having nobody. I am going through the dark night of the soul situation. I cannot turn 27 and carry this stupid shit with me anymore. I’ve been dealing with my family weaponizing my mental health and I feel so damn lost man. Everything that happened to me since childhood up until now is ruining the fuck outta me. As much as I didn’t wanna be on this earth imma stay bc maybe there’s love out there. I need to run away. I was thinking of going to Mexico solo I just need a break and wanted to do a retreat there. I need to get back to myself and know my power bc right now I’m just a body there’s nothing inside. Why why why WHYYYYY does this have to happen to me? Why can’t I be like everyone else? I just hope that this shit isn’t going to last forever.

Help How does it feel like after you've successfully mediated?

I'm in a lot of subreddits which deals with meditation in one way or another. I happened to see some posts about telekinesis, materialising objects, manipulating reality, manifestations etc. and it all requires meditation

I know how a waking mind is like, obviously, we all know. So my question is, what does it feel like when you are in a meditative mind? Is it just like normal mind + extra clarity or is it like a lucid dream, or is it you become aware in the subconscious mind?

My Journey Being awakened in narcissistic family is so hard

I feel like my last post was misunderstood…

I’m struggling with being awakened in my narcissistic borderline family because it’s made me aware of how much they show indifference towards me. I’m estranged, the scapegoat and mentally ill and I’m really struggling with the fact I’m aware of how troubled they are and feel so lonely. Could this be past life karma and I need to be the cycle breaker?

Practice How to break the chain of involvement and expectations

The psychological development of involvement and expectations is a sequential chain reaction that originates in the intellect and ultimately leads to suffering. Here is the step-by-step process of how they develop:

1. Continuous Thinking by the Intellect The root of all involvement begins in the brain . The intellect has a habit of constantly thinking, seeing, hearing, and analyzing the outside world.

2. Developing Partiality and Making Choices As the intellect evaluates the world, it starts categorizing things. Instead of accepting the world as it is, the intellect teaches us to make choices and harbor partiality . We begin dividing people, objects, and ideas into categories of "good" or "bad," and "mine" or "yours",.

3. Rigidity of Thoughts When we continuously make choices and practice partiality, our thoughts regarding certain people, objects, or ideologies become extremely firm and rigid (Dradhta),.

4. The Birth of Involvement When a thought becomes overly rigid, it transforms into the emotion of involvement. Involvement is the psychological state where you start believing that a particular person, object, or idea is "yours",,. Because of this artificial attachment, you unnecessarily begin to experience their sorrows and crises as your own, magnifying your own stress,.

5. The Rise of Expectations (Involvement immediately breeds expectations. The moment you become involved and label someone or something as your property, you naturally start expecting them to act according to your desires and conform to your certificate of "goodness",,,.

6. The Desire for Change and Ultimate Suffering Because human beings are inherently independent and unpredictable, it is impossible for anyone to perfectly fulfill another person's expectations,,. When these expectations are inevitably broken in day-to-day life, it breeds a persistent desire to forcefully change the other person, object, or situation to suit your comfort (Badlahat ki chah),,.

This entire sequence—from partiality and choices to rigidity, involvement, expectations, and finally the desire to change—is the ultimate psychological chain that causes human misery, tension, and frustration,,,. To solve the psychological chain of involvement and expectations, the sources emphasize that you cannot simply force yourself to "drop" them, as society or superficial advice often suggests. Because expectations are the final link in a long chain, you must destroy the root causes.

Based on the sources, here is the step-by-step psychological solution to break free from involvement and expectations:

1. Eradicate Partiality and Choices -Involvement is born the moment your intellect divides the world into "mine" and "yours," or "good" and "bad". To stop involvement from developing, you must consciously avoid making these biased choices. By dropping partiality and viewing everything as an equal part of nature's flawless flow, you destroy the very seed of future expectations.

2. Base Relationships on Natural Qualities Instead of interacting with people through artificial labels, roles, or the desire to make them "yours," connect with them purely based on their natural qualities and shared joys. For example, if both of you enjoy traveling or eating, connect over that specific joy. When your relationships are based on natural qualities rather than selfish partiality, they never turn into a burden of expectations.

3. Replace Involvement with True Love Involvement is a selfish attachment that asserts ownership and demands that the other person change to suit your comfort. You must shift from this toxic state to True Love. True love means treating everyone equally, giving them absolute freedom, and never trying to forcibly mold or change them.

4. The Ultimate Weapon: Complete Acceptance The most painful stage of the expectation chain is the constant, frustrating desire to forcefully change others or your circumstances (Badlahat ki chah). The sources state that the ultimate, instant cure for this is complete acceptance. If you unconditionally accept people, situations, and yourself exactly as they are—without wishing for anything to be different—the entire chain reverses. The moment you implement total acceptance, your desire to change things vanishes, which instantly burns your expectations, involvement, and partiality to ashes.

Play Do you think there is a fundamental mind?

If so, why did we ever separate from it?

Can you paint a picture with words of what I point to with the word fundamental?

Is fundamental equal or synonymous to: cross cultural? Across the board of all humans? The common denominator mind? The average? The base? Core?

What role does providing multiple synonyms for an idea play in articulating what a word means?

Do you like my questions?

What are my questions going to you as you read them?

Do you think you can create questions that pack a punch like mine?

Within that packed punch, I want you to put this triomni: that I will name for the first time as:

Triomni:(Intellectual:(Quality Quantity Alternation.).)

1:Quality:1.Depth.2. Density.3. Distinction.

2:Alternation:1.Ease.2.Effective.3. Efficient.

3:Quantity:1.Intensity.2.Frequency.3.Duration.

Someone called me a word engineer as an insult recently. Originally, I thought they were being endearing, and I was flattered greatly, but they played me, but I’ll take this interaction and remember it, because

I am a word engineer.

An engineer who creates blueprint schematics for the alignment and creation of and between the fundamental mind and the separated mind.

Reflection The Hidden Component Behind Both Dreams and Reality

One of the most powerful tricks that consciousness seems to have developed… is memory.

Maybe the greatest illusion of all.

Memory is not just storage. It carries a certain weight — a feeling of certainty, of “this definitely happened.” That feeling itself gives it authority. It makes it believable without question.

Try something.

Remember yesterday.

Don’t focus on what happened.

Instead, notice the feeling that yesterday actually happened.

That feeling of certainty.

You don’t question it.

You don’t verify it.

It simply feels unquestionably true.

Keep that feeling in mind.

Now look at a dream.

While you are inside a dream, the memory you have there feels completely real. You don’t question it. You don’t sit and verify it. It just is.

You might suddenly “remember” that this person is your friend, or that this place is your home, or that something happened earlier.

And instantly, it feels true.

The certainty is already there.

Now something even stranger happens.
After just a couple of minutes of sleep…
I completely forget this current reality.
This room.
These people.
My waking life.
Everything.
And yet I don’t feel confused.
I completely believe the dream.
Why?

Where is that certainty coming from?
Why am I believing that moment so completely?
Why does the dream already seem to have a continuous past?

A yesterday.
A history.
A life that feels like it has always been there.
If you don’t try to inspect it, the feeling of certainty does all the work.

It convinces you.

And the moment you try to look deeper into that past, it gets created on the spot — as memory — with the same feeling of certainty attached to it.

It’s almost like the system fills in the gaps instantly…
Just to maintain continuity.

So the dream never breaks.
Now look at what happens when you “wake up.”

What we call waking up is, in my view, just shifting into another dream.(just my view)

The moment you wake up, the dream you just experienced starts losing its weight.
The certainty fades.
The sureness disappears.
It starts feeling distant.

Unreal.
Almost irrelevant.

And at the very same moment…
This reality suddenly gains complete authority.
Now this feels real.
Now this feels certain.

The weight has simply shifted.

Not because one reality is objectively more real than the other…
But because consciousness has assigned certainty to this layer now.

So the game continues.
A continuous shifting of certainty.
A continuous rewriting of what feels real.

Memory is not just recording reality.
It is actively maintaining the illusion of continuity.
Of identity.
Of a stable past.

Without memory, the idea of “me” starts dissolving.
Without that feeling of certainty…
Even this reality would begin to feel like a loose, unstable dream.
So maybe memory is not truth.
Maybe it is glue.

The glue that holds the dream together.
Maybe certainty itself is the invisible ingredient of the illusion.

The thing that makes any reality feel unquestionable.
After just a couple of minutes of sleep…

Consciousness completely shifts that certainty.
It makes an entirely different reality feel absolutely real.
It gives it a past.
A history.
An identity.
And I believe it without hesitation.
Then, on waking, it does the same thing all over again.
The certainty simply moves.
So here’s the question…

If consciousness can make me feel absolutely certain about two completely different realities…
How do I know that the feeling of certainty is pointing to truth… rather than simply being the mechanism that makes any reality feel real?
Or, put even more simply…

What if certainty isn’t evidence of reality…
What if certainty is the illusion itself?
