Fields
Hi, I'm looking to see if anyone knows of any open, empty fields in Toronto to just be alone and frolic in, preferably in Etobicoke. I was tempted to go into those huge fields blocked by Hydro One, but I know better lol.

Hydro fields are safe. Just stay off equipment.

That's what I thought. I just heard it'd be trespassing.

Somewhere like this is safe and ok to go. I've done it for 30 ish years. https://maps.app.goo.gl/KLWvCxq36DFyELiYA

A lot of schools have big fields for recess/sports... Obviously don't go there during school hours.
I love walking in Home Smith Park as there are big lawns on the west side of the Humber river. Not sure if those are 'fields' but they're definitely lawns haha.
Also not a field but Humber Bay Park East just opened after extensive renovations. It's lovely to sit by the water and watch the waves go by. There are benches or you can sit on or the retaining wall (boulders).

You can try the sport fields behind the Etobicoke school of the arts on Royal York. It’s usually empty other than the occasional dog walker
