Minifuze 4 only outputs in mono on Linux

When I switched over to Linux i figured I might encounter some issues, but I saw people online saying that their interfaces worked just fine, then I realized that my audio is only coming out in mono. When I test the 5.1 surround the Front Left and Front Right both come through channels 1 and 2, the Center comes through channel 3 and Subwoofer comes through channel 4, with Rear Right and Rear Left seemingly not going anywhere. I assume I could fix this is I could use the Minifuze Control Center but the Minifuze drivers fail to install through Wine. Has anyone found a way to install the drivers on Linux or is there a way to solve this issue without them? For reference I am on Linux Mint 22 Cinnamon version 6.2.9

KeyStep32 mk2 - Hardware rig - Midi input limitations?

Hi! I recently built a battery powered synth-rig to bring to jams and such. I use the Roland Aira T-8 and S-1 as synths, and i chose the Keystep 32mk2 as the master. I also use a Doepfer MBP25 organ pedal, and my plan was to use the KS32 for sequencing, and using the MBP25 to change the key

HOWEVER.. after experimentation and reading manuals, i cannot for the life of me get this setup to work. I am able to get the midi notes across my chain, but cannot figure out how to change the sequencer using external input.

Is this a known limitation, and is there any hope that this is a potential software matter?

And if so: is there any way to press this matter to Arturia?

And if not: does the KS37 or similar controllers have this functionality?

I really appreciate any input and suggestions, as i am a bit frustrated over this unit missing this seemingly basic functionality..

Thanks!

Getting frustrated with Arturia

Starting to get mildly frustrated with Arturia. I've been emailing them for the last 2 weeks trying to get an issue resolved with a used Polybrute 12 I purchased. It's impossible to get more than 1 email per day from them, no matter how respectful or responsive I try to be. We (arturia support & myself) got to the point where we determined the synthesizer has an issue around the voice card for voice number 6 and i needed to be referred to their After Sales team for a repair estimate and I've been reaching out and following up with them every day for the last 5 days and have gotten no response and it's starting to leave a bad taste in my mouth for Arturia.

Bit of a back story...

I purchased a used Polybrute 12 off Reverb.

Advertised as used - excellent. Described as "tested & working" and "barely used".

Synth arrives - static noise pop & splash in Polyphonic and Unison modes every single time Voice #6 plays a sound.

Started a return through Reverb to try and get my money back and to return the synth.

Seller wanted to offer partial refund for cost of repair.

Here I am over 2 weeks later still waiting to hear from Arturia about an estimated cost of repair.

Has anybody else had a hard time trying to communicate with Arturia?

I really like the Polybrutr 12, it's a beautiful sounding instrument but this whole situation is leaving a sour taste in my mouth for Arturia and I'm about at the point of giving up, insisting on returning the synth for a full refund and never looking in Arturia's direction again.

Newbie needs help with Keylab 61 mkII using pads to trigger part changes

I am using the Keylab mkII with GigPerformer and was using the 13 and 14 pad buttons for song part changes. It was working the way it was supposed to then suddenly I'm also getting a keyboard tone when I press the button (giving me the low C and C# respectively). I've tried changing it to program change on MIDI control center (it was on note) but that doesn't seem to make any difference. How do I turn the note off? The Keylab is set on User and the Pad button is lit but I don't see any way to turn that off, other than to change it to Chord or Transpose.

I messed up a driver somewhere

My C drive, just the other day I was forced to empty stuff. There was like a Meg of space left and the computer was being unusable. I must've deleted something I wasn't supposed to dealing with arturia because today my keystep won't connect to FL studio, and the MCC I am getting a repeated device was failed to grab. I didn't use the control center before but something is not registering and when I look for the midi drivers it just finds the website for the control center.

Midi controls glitch and jump in Mainstage (and Logic)

Whenever I try to change any MIDI mapped parameters either in Mainstage or Logic I get this weird glitching / jumping issue, where all of the mapped controls suddenly change at once. Any advice?

Anybody have a good experience getting replacement parts from Arturia? Cause I'm not :/

I have a Keystep that has a blown power circuit, before I tossed it I reached out to Arturia to see if they'd tell me the component so I can resolder it, or if I could just buy a whole replacement board.

I was actually surprised when they said they'd ship me one for $37! Sounds great 10/10 service! I paid using their Paypal, and sent them a confirmation. They didn't get back to me after I confirmed it, so I used the website's "contact us" form again, gave them my ticket number, and a different rep confirmed the payment and said they'd ship in 3 days.

Great!... except it now it's two weeks later, and I've reached out twice, and they said they have no update, no explanation, I just get a canned response saying they'll "keep an eye on it for me". The only way it seems for me to get a response is to go through the 'contact us' form.

My excitement that they were willing to support their product has turned to disappointment, not just because it's taking a long time but because of the lack of communication.

What to do, what to do...

I really wabted to get the minibrute 2s, for several if not lany reasons... Such as the small patchbay, the fact that contrary to "popular" synths that wasn't just pressing on some pads and change what instrument produces that sound, no, here I started to understand what SCULPTING A RAW ELECTRIC SIGNAL can sound like.

A few months later I decided that my synth needed a drum machine , and I did what I very quickly felt was a big mistake: I bought the Drumbrute.

That I promptly sold waiting for a not so distant future when the right one, i.e. the Drumbrute IMPACT would join the setup.

But before it could happen I already had my hands on the Bearstep pro, as I wanted to experiment with the CV and Gate outputs of the BSP plugged into the small patchbay of the MB2s.

I have gotten other dawless instruments but what was waiting to happen finally happened last week. Someone was selling a DBimpact really cheap.

Sorry for the long intro, my question and the tldr of my whole post is , i feel that one of the three arturias is too much,or rather too redundant:

Between the BeatStepPro, the DrumBrute Impact and the MiniBrute 2s, which one would you let go?

Or maybe someone could help me seeing how I could use them all three in the same setup.

Please help, I'm torturing my brain for a week now with those questions!

J37: how often do you use it?

Thinking of buying a tape machine plugin. Have basically little to no experience with them barring like some RC20 use here and there. The idea I had would be to just put it on the master for some warm analog vibes.

What is your use case?

Arturia MiniFuse 2 OTG for Streaming

My Wife wants to stream mic and music from her Mac mini to iPhone 16 for Douyin (TikTok) Streaming. She purchased the Mic and Midiplus Routist R2 Gen 2 from China.

It seems to work fine on the Mac and I can get music and mic output to headphones plugged into the routist R2, but no sound comes to the Iphone when plugged into the OTG port. There does not seem to be any support in English from midiplus and I have tried for many hours to get it to work. I tested with GarageBand, Blackmagic Camera etc. The Routist is detected by the iPhone, but never any audio arrives

My question: is the Arturia MiniFuse 2 OTG what I need? will it solve the issue? Will it work for the use case of:

  • Music from Macmini > Minifuse 2 via usb
  • Mic from Minifuse 2
  • Send both music and mic output to Iphone via OTG port so that it can be added to the Douyin live stream

Thanks in advance.

Microfreak clip noise when changing preset

The synth makes a horrible clip sounds when changing patches. Almost for every preset it makes this clip. You can hear it well at high volume. How can i eliminate this in live concerts? Does any pedal or mixer fx can help to avoid this noise in live situations?
Thank you

Arturia Complaint

Update July 16, 2026:

Arturia got in contact with me after someone on the Arturia forums let them know about my issue. Arturia sent me a replacement set which arrived today. They were more than fair and I'm very happy to now have a full leg set for my PolyBrute 12. Thank you Arturia for listening. I remain a massive fan of this company!

For anyone struggling with customer service via the web interface, try posting on the Arturia forums to explain your issue. That's how this issue got fixed for me.

Good luck and thanks to everyone who responded to this thread.

(Previous post)

Hello Fellow Arturia Customers,

I'm going to try and keep this concise because I've had a long road with trying to get assistance via Arturia Support - resulting in an incomplete solution which Arturia has deemed 'Solved'.

In May 2025 I sent a request to get replacement brackets for the wooden legs for my PolyBrute 12. I lost the brackets by accidentally leaving them on my PolyBrute 6 when I sold it.

Arturia support requested proof of my PolyBrute 12 purchase receipt and a photo of the leg hardware that I still have. The documents were provided. I've shown the picture of my hardware that is missing the brackets in an attachement on this post.

What followed were several emails with a very helpful support team member (Daniel). Daniel explained that Arturia did not have spare brackets at that time but to check back over the coming months to see if anything had changed. So, I did so.

On May 22, 2026 I reached out again regarding the brackets. Suport said they had them and could now supply them to me. (Again, relying on the previous emails including the photo of the leg hardware that I did have.)

I paid 60 Euros to ship the replacement brackets (Arturia was kind enough to not make me pay for the actual brackets.) The box arrived within a week.

But, the box contained 4 large rectangular sections that connect to the bottomof the PolyBrute 12 (picture attached). Anyone who has this hardware knows that only two of the large rectangular brackets are needed - one for the left and one for the right. So I was given to sets of the large bracket component.

The more important problem was that the four smaller square parts of the brackets that the legs screw into were not provided. So after a year of support and followup, I'm still unable to use the legs, I'm 60 Euros out of pocket, and the time from both me and Arturia has resulted in this issue still being unresolved.

I emailed via my email support thread to show the missing parts and received no reply. The image that I included in that follow up is attached to this post as well (with blue circles around the missing bracket components.)

So, I opened a new support ticket referring to the initial support ticket number explaining the situation. About a week later that ticket was closed and marked as 'Solved'. I did not receive any sort of reply or information via email or the support system.

I opened another new support ticket linking to the second one mentioned in the previous paragraph. That ticket has also been marked as 'Solved' with no reply or communication with me.

I sent another followup email via the original support ticket thread. Nothing.

I'm so dissappointed in this. I've been an Arturia fan for years. I own several of their software and hardware products. Being ghosted after a customer service blunder is not the way to go here.

Can someone offer me some advice on how I can escalate this in a different way? The support ticket system ignores me immediately closes my requests with 'Solved' status. And my email trail with customer service is now being ignored too.

Thanks to anyone who is listening.

Arturia Audio interface loopback function is trash

Just recently switched from Focusrite Saffire Pro40 to Audiofuse 16rig. One feature of the Saffire Pro40 that I used a lot is loopback. I was happy to see that the 16rig also has this feature. HOWEVER, the actual operation of loopback in the 16rig is completely different and, in my opinion, absurd and borderline unacceptable.

At first I simply couldn't figure out how to use it. The manual was not clear, and what little discussion I found online was also not clear. I ended up emailing Arturia support and the answer I received blows my mind as to how they thought this was an acceptable way to implement the loopback functionality.

I will copy and paste their email below, but the gist of it is that you have to dive into the DAW or audio applications you are using, and find and select the appropriate settings in order to set up the loopback routing. WTF???? That's what an audio interface GUI is for! They boast about their robust and flexible routing matrix in their GUI, but then leave the loopback functionality out of it, and force the user to wrestle with the settings in the various audio applications they are using in order to get the routing to work???? I'm dumbfounded.

To contrast, the loopback functionality in the Focusrite Saffire Pro40 GUI is simple and intuitive. A drop-down menu next to each indicated loopback channel in the GUI allows you to select any available channels that you want to route to the loopback channels, including the entire mix of all audio going through the interface. Dead simple. It seems to me the obvious thing that Arturia should have done is to simply put the loopback channels in the routing matrix in the GUI. Job done. Then you could simply choose which channels you want to route to loopback, including the full mix. It blows my mind that they did not do this. Like I wish I could show up at their offices with a few slides and a pointer to show them how stupid their implementation is. Gaaahhhh!!!!

Anyway, here are the specific instructions given to me in the email from Arturia support:

"To capture computer or DAW audio on Windows:

  1. In your DAW, enable AudioFuse 16Rig output channels 33–34.
  2. Route the track, bus, or master mix that you want to capture to outputs 33–34.
  3. In an ASIO-compatible receiving application, select AudioFuse 16Rig inputs 33–34.
  4. In applications that use standard Windows audio devices, such as OBS, add the AudioFuse 16Rig Loopback recording device as the audio source.

Please note that sending audio only to outputs 33–34 will not send it to your speakers. To monitor the signal at the same time, route it separately to your normal Main or monitor outputs as well.

If you need to combine computer audio with microphones, instruments, or several hardware inputs, create that mix in your DAW or another software mixer, then send the resulting stereo mix to outputs 33–34.

This is why the loopback channels do not appear as destinations in the AFCC routing matrix: the source selection is handled by the computer application rather than by the 16Rig’s internal router."

Arturia keyboard “on stage”

Post image

I saw David Byrne last night at BBK Live in Bilbao. Everyone was wireless. The keyboardist was wearing the keyboard and playing flawlessly while moving around on stage. I think he is Daniel Mintseris on an Arturia KeyLab Essential.
