Meta We have a Lemmy community!

Eight months ago this was posted about moving off of Reddit. As far as I am aware nothing major happened since then.
A few days ago now I contacted u/TranZeitgeist about making a Lemmy community (communities are the Lemmy equivalent of Subreddits). Now I have moderator, and I'm telling you about this.
What is Lemmy?
Lemmy is a Reddit alternative that is based around being pro-user. Lemmy is decentralised, which means lots of people can join from different websites (or 'instances') and still talk to each other, like how emails work.
How do I sign up?
The community was made on https://lemm.ee/, however if you plan on posting right away I recommend signing up at another instance (Here's a list) as lemm.ee blocks image posts for new accounts to prevent spam. If you sign up at lemm.ee you can access the community at https://lemm.ee/c/arttocope, or if you sign up on another community just copy paste that link into the search bar.
Why switch?
Like the other mods said in the original post about moving away, Reddit certainly has some issues. Most of these issues centre around the fact that Reddit is a company that has to make money, which Lemmy is not.
How can I access it? Is there a Lemmy app?
Lemmy can be accessed through websites, or through phone apps. There is an official client, called Jerboa, or you can use one of the community made options.

Ludus Is neat.
right on beat.. When two become one

Ludus is freeing. In the moment
what's mine is yours.
We play with fire by the name of affection.
It can't hurt us, only if we let it.

That gets so sweet. It comes in so many flavors.
Makes you feel complete. It's filling.
Receiving passion, repaying it.

Fun like no other.
I adore affection, I can't help replaying it.
over and over in my mind.
I find, that when I am undressed,
-when I am but meat
-no layers fall off me.

Affection is a vessel that helps
brighten the moment,
the relationship.

complicated, in ludus it's elementary.
A small humble exchange

A simple gesture for a simple statement.
"this is nice". "This was OK". "This is something.. I don't hate"
(Maybe like. Perhaps really like.)

But like a star can burn too bright, affection Eros... isn't too nice.
No affection that runs deeper is harder
It's increasingly harder to call sweet. It burns me.
Makes me pull away when affection is a stand-in
For "I want you to stay" " 'I see you' and ''I'm not looking away"

When it's eros you're expected to be bare in
every meaning of the word
you're expected to be loved
you're expected to be heard
All the careful layers fall away.
While on the surface I'm young & free as a bird....
I am scared of true intimacy. Terrified of true affections.
Affection: I am unworthy of it, much less prepared to give it.

Yet I know we are meant to love at full force
make the very most of our time.
Turn down no mortal pleasures.
Savor all that we have.
Seize the moment.
