which one is the best Internet provider for gaming in Armenia?

Hey everyone,

I've been living in Armenia for about 3 years and I'm currently using Ucom. The latency to European servers is fine, and the 250 Mbps is more than enough for me.

However, I've been dealing with a frustrating jitter issue. It seems like roughly every 1–2 seconds an outgoing packet is delayed or lost, which is very noticeable in competitive games like CS2.

I'm not sure if this is something specific to the Nor Nork area where I currently live, or if it's a more common issue with Ucom.

I'm moving to a new apartment soon, so I'm considering switching to Team Telecom instead. Has anyone here used Team, especially for gaming? I'd really appreciate hearing your experience with them.

P.S. I've attached a CS2 jitter graph and a PingPlotter screenshot.

Seeking a Small House with Private Land in Armenia — Budget $50–60k

Hello everyone,

After many years abroad as a teacher, I'm looking to buy a small home in Armenia that I can eventually call my permanent home and retirement home. I'm not looking for a luxury house or summer house, just a simple, cozy place with its own privately owned land (if I'm lucky), clear legal documents and Cadastre registration.

My budget is around 21 to 24 million dram (about 50 to 60 thousand USD), and if the property is the right fit and everything is legally clear, I'm ready to move forward with the purchase.

Ideally, I'm looking for a small house (one bedroom is enough), with reliable electricity, drinking water, sewage, internet, and a heating system already installed (Baxi gas heating). A small garden or yard would be a lovely bonus.

With my background as a business and economics teacher being within reasonable distance of a town or city where there may be opportunities to teach, tutor, or work in education would be an advantage, but not essential.

I'd prefer to contact property owners directly, not through real estate agencies. If you have a suitable property or know someone who does, I'd be grateful if you could share the location, price, house and land size, photos, and any information about the legal documents.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post. If you know a town or community that fits what I'm looking for, I'd be very happy to hear your advice.

Thanks again for your kindness and recommendations. I truly appreciate any help.

Tourism / Զբոսաշրջություն Why airlines still hesitating to add flights from Gyumri?

As a business analyst from Temu, wouldn't it make the perfect sense to add routes to Gyumri airport that are not availble from Yerevan and Tbilisi?

Airport fees for Gyumri is 50% less compared to Yerevan and slightly less than Tbilisi.

Airlines will receive 15,000 drams, or roughly $37 per passenger for inbound flights to Shirak Airport in Gyumri (for new routes). So this will make them pay minimal or 0 fees to the airport...and not forget the fact that EVN is working over its capacity.

And after possible Turkey border opening, it can also serve Kars population.

Do you have any testosterone gels?

I'm from Tbilisi, and I'd like to ask the locals if there are any testosterone gels available in local pharmacies. There are no such gels in Georgia, and I can't use anything else. I'm not sure how to search for online pharmacies or where to find them. Thank you for any information you can provide.

I’m thinking of escaping the UAE heat for a few days and was looking into Yerevan to realize it’s in the 30s! Is it actually 30 degrees or is the “feels like “ temperature way higher

Discussion / Քննարկում Smoking in Armenia — Street art essay in an abandoned building

Post image
75 Upvotes

I recently painted this piece in an abandoned structure and wanted to share the commentary behind it regarding smoking culture and traditional expectations.

The man with a gun and the woman with a stroller represent traditional gender roles — protecting the country and raising the next generation. However, both adults smoke, with their lungs severely damaged. It highlights a systemic paradox: society demands strength and longevity, yet normalizes habits that directly destroy them.

The child stands between them, inheriting this environment before making a single choice. The cigarettes surrounding them symbolize how addiction becomes an unavoidable part of the environment kids grow up in.

The phrase «Ապագա չկա» ("No Future") isn't pure nihilism here. It's a critique: a society that exalts family and duty, yet normalizes daily self-destruction, gradually deprives itself of its own future.

Location is an abandoned building, so no public property was damaged. Would love to hear your thoughts on how smoking culture interacts with these societal norms in Armenia today.

Events and voluntary Work options in September 2026

Hello everyone,

i'll be visiting armenia by bike for the entire september.

I already got some nice stops along the route (mostly the standard-must visit places), but I'm curious if there are any big or small cultural or musical events (rock, metal, techno preferably) you can recommend.

And as i might get bored by biking during the month, i consider doing some voluntary work in the countryside. So, if oyu got any dieas about that, bring them on.

if you got any other outdoor or cultural activities or places you would recommend, i'd love to hear them.

Can't wait to visit your beautiful country!

Best ISP or 4G/5G Provider in Shenkani, Aragatsotn?

Hi guys,

I need your advice. Which ISP (internet service provider) would you recommend for Shenkani village, Alagyaz Municipality, Aragatsotn Province?

If fixed broadband isn’t available, which mobile operator (Ucom, Viva, Team Telecom, etc.) has the best 4G/5G coverage and speeds in that area?

Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

Economy / Տնտեսություն Firebird AI project in Hrazdan

Hello everyone,

I am very excited about the Firebird AI data center in Hrazdan. Knowing that Armenia will host one of the biggest AI supercomputers in the world is a proud moment for our country.

Phase 1 is a $500 million investment, and Phase 2 aims to reach $4 billion. However, I want to know what this actually means for everyday people and our country's economy.

I have a few questions for people who understand economics and technology:

1.Will there be jobs for Armenians, or will the project be fully controlled by the US?

  1. Do you think this project will provide a significant boost to Armenia’s GDP?
