I bought the Zeta SL as used, but still in good condition. I wanted to see how waterproof it is, so i rinsed it with a showerhead for couple seconds. Is this normal for the Zeta SL?

Gamma pant. This is the pocket located around the thigh, I’m not sure how to fix this, it is not stitched. Is there a fabric glue? Thanks in advance.

However those threads were from couple years ago wondering if anyone has a more recent experience with ReBird and shipping to Canada.

I just visited the arcteryx store in Seattle and saw they had jackets that had Seattle spelled out on the arm in a circle. Is there other cities that have city exclusive merch?

So I'm looking at getting my first ArcTeryx jacket but I don't know which one to get. I live in Norway and I'm often hiking in the woods, going for long walks etc. But I'd also like to use this jacket for everyday use when it's raining and windy outside. I do understand that the most rain effective jackets aren't in the warmest league, but what's not why I'm getting it. Want the jacket to withstand harsh weather.

Any suggestions?

Males 5’10, 165 lbs, 40” chest.
Looking at Beta SV. Medium is my true size with a tee, camp shirt or light sweater on. Sweater and puffy it’s pushing it with some
Tightness in the under arm.

Large is slightly oversized to get that fortress cozy feeling - layers with a puffy better. Oversized is trendy right now but is a bit loose in a tee on a summer rain shower.

Think I’ll use it three season, back country portaging, canoeing, hiking, around town.

What is everyone’s perspective on sizing?

new to Arc’teryx here and looking for something light for summer hikes and evening walks. I'm currently looking at the Atom SL Hoody.

I'm planning to get it second-hand and have two options right now: one is a 2017 model and the other is a 2021 model. They're pretty similar in pricing, $182 for the 2021 and $175 for the 2017.

Which one is better, the more recent version or the older one? I know that in some cases older products can be better, but since I’m new to Arc’teryx, I was wondering if the quality has improved over time or is it worth just purchasing the older model?

Hello everyone, I’m getting a pretty sweet deal on a used pair of beta AR pants. I am going to Peru soon, in September and would like to bring a shell with me, to do the Salkantey Trek to Machu Picchu. I would like your guys thoughts on if this would be the right shell to pack, or will I over heat very quickly?

I recently moved from Vancouver to a small town in BC with no Arc’teryx in any of the shops.. and I’m planning on getting the Men’s Beta SL in the new Stone Red color for the next shoulder season. Does anyone have any pictures of that color in real life? I searched in this sub and google and all I could find were marketing pictures.

In Australia, the Sabre SV is $250 more expensive than the Sabre. It is apparently more durable but is it overkill for resort skiing only? I won't be flying through trees or rocks.

Should I keep the l or XL I want to pair it with atom for winter and maybe a hoodie the l dresses a little better but xl gives me a little more room. I have no experience with layering.

I just got a 2025 Atom Hoody in Black.

One thing I noticed is that the lower front panels look noticeably lighter/greyer than the upper half of the jacket, especially indoors. It almost looks like the jacket is half black and half dark grey.

For anyone who owns the 2025 Atom Hoody in Black, is this normal because of the different fabrics/light reflection, or am I not crazy and this isn't how it's supposed to look?

I purchased the Norvan Nivalis from the Outlet site in a US 7.5 (EU 40 2/3) and 8 (41 1/3) and am unsure which to return. I’m usually a 8.5/42 with narrow feet and read that these tend to run a size large so a 8.5 would definitely be too big.

Neither size is too tight or wide. I do need to cinch the 8 a little tighter but it doesn’t feel loose and with a thick merino socks I don’t feel a difference. The only thing is that the 8 seems a bit loose at the ankle and, of course, has a little more room at the front of the toe box.

Can anybody report on the durability of the sole and ankle elasticity since initial purchase/long-term? Do your feet tend to slide in the shoe? Would you consider them only for running during snowy days or have you worn yours during rainy days on a regular outing (i.e., as sneakers)?

I had an old ish polartec delta lt(or delta I’m not certain on the model) that I’ve somehow managed to lose or put in a place where I can’t find it. I absolutely loved it and am pretty devastated with the loss of it. In the past when looking at fleeces on the arc website it seems like everything has been moved to the insulation that is on the proton and polartec isn’t an option anymore. Obviously I’m sure nobody here has a concrete answer but do we think arc will make polartec delta’s again or am I going to have to try and find one second hand?

Usually when I pickup an arc shell im so excited when I get home. The proton looked great on me at the store but once home trying it on Theres no excitement ? I dunno maybe I just love shells
