[Hobby] Building a Christian App (Abide) – Looking for Flutter Developers, Designers & Contributors

Hi everyone!

My name is James, and I’m a student building a Christian mobile app called Abide.

Mission:
Help people build a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through Scripture, prayer, and daily spiritual habits.

This isn’t just another Bible app. My goal is to create something that is beautiful, peaceful, and genuinely helps people spend more time with God.

Planned Features

📖 Beautiful Bible reading experience

🤖 AI Bible study companion

🙏 Prayer journal with answered prayer tracking

🌄 A unique Mountain Journey that grows visually as users stay consistent

⭐ Grace Points earned through spiritual habits like reading Scripture, praying, journaling, and gratitude (these are for encouragement only and do not represent salvation or God’s favor)

📅 Reading plans and daily devotionals

📸 Daily challenges (examples: read a chapter, pray for five minutes, memorize a verse, spend time appreciating God’s creation)

🏆 Cosmetic unlocks like profile banners, themes, and mountain scenery

🎨 A calm, premium design inspired by Apple’s apps and nature

Who I’m Looking For

  • 📱 Flutter developers
  • 🎨 UI/UX designers
  • 🤖 AI developers
  • 🧪 Beta testers
  • 📖 People interested in helping with Bible content or devotionals

Transparency

This is currently a volunteer, open collaboration. I can’t offer payment right now because I’m a student, but I’m committed to learning Flutter, contributing to the project myself, and building something that can genuinely impact people’s lives.

If the project grows in the future, I’d love for the people who helped build it to continue being part of its journey.

If this mission resonates with you and you’d like to contribute, I’d love to talk. Feel free to comment or send me a DM.

“Abide in me, and I in you.” — John 15:4

Need help improving game physics and mechanics

Hi all I'm a solo game dev (since 2 weeks ago) and I want to make my game physics feel easy to use and good to play like I would of done for years playing golf clash and battle.

Need testers really and right now I'm finding it hard to get anyone to test. I'm not promoting for people to pay it's a free game and purely now I need help and feedback for closed testing.

Gepahics aren't 100% yet and the HUD is slowly being worked on but genuinely I'm not looking to get rich here I'm just trying to get people to play it.

It's on Android right now so need you to join the Google group if interested.

Thank you in advance

New App Idea: Will it work?

I have no technical experience and want to build an app. I’ve finished preparing the vision, scope, business model, market analysis and marketing strategy. Along with a rough outline of technical architecture (to be confirmed with CTO).

The main idea of the app is to help people get rid of decision fatigue and be more productive in their daily lives.

I got the idea because it solves a lot of problems I have in my own daily life.
I get home from a long day at work starving and exhausted. I scroll through UberEats and DoorDash to figure out what to eat and by the time I know it, it’s been 30minutes of scrolling and I still can’t decide. So I just usually go back to ordering a Sweet&Sour Pork with Special Fried Rice. That was 30minutes of the few hours I have to myself when I’m not at work.
I usually scroll through Netflix, Disney+, Prime for almost an hour to figure out what to watch as well. Before I know it, it’s bedtime and I have to repeat the same after work routine the next day. Weekends are filled with ‘time wasted’ as well. I spent hours looking through Instagram or googling what to do nearby that would interest me. Or spend back-to-back messages in group chats trying to get my friends together for drinks. We only have 24hours in a day. I want an app that helps me get rid of all the time I’ve wasted not doing what I want to do because I have to spend time deciding what actually to do.

Since the app does not exist yet, I created a waitlist to see how many people will be interested in using the app and to get future beta testers.

I’m also hoping the waitlist grows so I can use the numbers when I pitch to pre-seed investors.

There’s a lot more to the app but that’s the essence of it, I guess.

Sign up to the waitlist if you experience the same problems, or if you want “more hours in your 24 hours”. Here's the link: meetraein.com

I’m also looking for a CTO/Co-founder.

Lets talk on problem solving, dont reveal ideas !

I did build a lot of stuff in recent times

Website, trading bots, whatsapp bits and android apps.

Few are prototype, few in production.

Would like to understand what would thr underperforming areas where we can solve a lot problems.

I am more into problem solving later into SAAS.

I would like to understand what people are actually building to solve ?

Thanks
