TDP wasted 3 years finalizing contractor and designs, without centre backing works progressed at a very slow pace before 2019. Now lets talk about YCP.

• 2014: In assembly, supported Amaravati as capital and argued CBN has to acquire more land
• 2019: Three capitals, Vizag - Amaravati - Kurnool
• 2022: Vizag is the capital as CM is here.
• 2025: We reject Amaravati as capital
• 2026: Machilipatnam - Vijayawada - Guntur (Mavigun) is the capital.

YCP is directly responsible for wrecking Singapore township built handled by the Singapore government. This was supposed to be a 9,000 acre area of land in Amaravati directly developed by the govt of Singapore. They planned to pull in huge global investments in exchange for 33% of the stake in the township. The more investments Singapore pulls into Amaravati, the more it earns.

This party can't even finalize the place of capital let alone finalizing designs and building it, on average it changes its stance every 2 1/2 years.

Now lets talk about the pace of Amaravati in 2026:

TDP's efforts to revive Singapore township in Amaravati were outright rejected by Singapore citing mismanagement by the previous govt.

It has set a impossible target by Indian standards of completing the trunk infrastructure and govt complex by 2027. According to CRDAs own dashboard, by now the target is 48% of works to be completed. But the progress has been only 26 percent so far. Now, blaming the govt for setting itself an impossible target is a pointless discussion.

But we should continuously pressure the govt on progress of capital, we can not trust any of these politicians being alone with our capital.

I have experienced all 3 cities, born & brought up in Vijayawada, lived in vizag for 2yrs, 4yrs in Hyderabad for work.

So, I think I can make this comment.

I'm not saying Vizag & Vijayawada are completely litter free, people here still litter on streets, but the difference is Vizag & Vijayawada municipalities do their job very well in cleaning & maintaining the city.

They make sure every road, footpath, streets are clean & shining.

Drianges are properly maintained, de-silted every month.

And coming to Hyderabad, the moment you enter Secunderabad railway station or MGBS, you'll feel a stark difference, everything feels like it was cleaned a decade ago.

Litter & dust sitting on roads from many days, worst drainage system which is not maintained well & gunk oozing out them onto roads.

Overall, cleanliness situation of Hyderabad is worse than Vizag & Vijayawada.

As per my understanding, the government has stated that water for the proposed data centres will be supplied from the Polavaram project. If that's the plan, it's reassuring. At the same time, I think one important aspect also deserves attention.

Even today, some apartment communities in areas like Madhurawada and Kommadi experience groundwater shortages and depend on water tankers. If Vizag sees large-scale data centre development, it would be helpful for the government to clearly explain how residential water needs will be protected alongside industrial demand.

I'm not against data centres or development—I support Vizag's growth. My only concern is that existing local water issues should be addressed, with a transparent long-term water management plan so that both residents and industries have a reliable water supply in the future.

I am from Nellore and travelled to almost every region of AP.

What I feel is Nellore is closer to rayalaseema in terms of culture.
