Calgary-based | Seeking quiet static security, camp, or night shift roles (Open to FIFO)
I'm in Calgary and looking for entry-level shift work, either full-time, part-time, or casual. I'm available for overnight shifts and open to rotational camp work, including 14-on/14-off schedules with flights from YYC.
The jobs I'm most interested in are:
- Overnight gatehouse or access-control work
- Low-traffic industrial or storage-site security
- Surveillance and alarm monitoring
- Overnight control-room or facility-monitoring positions
- Camp clerk, lodge night desk, or site-access roles
I have a Computer Science background, so I'm comfortable with surveillance software, electronic logs, basic troubleshooting, and detailed record keeping. I'm legally entitled to work in Canada, reliable working independently, and available to start quickly.
I'm specifically hoping to find a quiet, low-traffic assignment. If personal reading or laptop use is allowed during inactive periods, that would be a strong fit, but I understand that site responsibilities always come first and that many employers prohibit personal devices.
If you know a company, recruiter, or specific Alberta site that hires for this kind of work, I'd appreciate the lead. Comments or DMs are welcome.
