Update: got a package in the mail yesterday with the items: 2 coasters, sunglasses, and a Rubik’s cube keychain. The coasters are cool but overall kind of underwhelming. Will add a pic in comments.

For anyone who did VIP for this tour, what was the “specially designed VIP gift item”? I was chatting with someone else who did the Soundcheck VIP with me in NY and we realized that we never received anything (aside from the poster, lanyard, and drink ticket, which were all listed separately on the list of things that were supposed to be included).

Haven’t seen any posts about it so wondering if anyone got it?

So back when YC went on hiatus the first time (2008-2011), during that period I had heard the original lineup (minus Sean if you count him as an original member) reunited for a one-off show in Jacksonville to play Where We Stand front to back. This would've been Ben Dobson, Todd Clare, Ben Harper, Warren Cooke, and LP. I have never been able to find any footage of this show and wondered if anyone had any they'd be willing to share? Listening to City of Angels and it really affects me. "Time goes so fast." I turn 36 next week and I remember getting hyped when Lights and Sounds released 20 years ago and, boy, it hits like a truck. Time truly does fly.

It’s got some decent tracks on it but nothing that really stuck out to me and this is coming from somebody who has loved basically everything they’ve put out. Even the Childhood eyes EP had better bangers on it. If that album would’ve been longer it would’ve been good!

Anyone else kind of bummed we didn’t the outro they’re playing live for city of angels in the studio version? It was sick as hell.

When the album came out, nobody appreciated it. It wasn’t upbeat, it failed to have summer vibes. Hell, I barely listened to it. I feel like fans didn’t want this to be the final album. Not because it was bad, but it failed to have classic Yellowcard elements.

Years later, after their reunion, after Better Days, I gave it another shot. Knowing it wasn’t their swan song, I had a more open mind. It was great. Yes, it lacked summer vibes, but it brought something much more. Yellowcard delivered us a darker, more emotional album.

Listening to this on a happy summer day with good vibes is not what this record is meant for.

Maybe on a cloudy day while driving home from a stressful day at work. It could also work on the way home on a road trip on the last day of vacation. Trying giving it a shot while driving the streets in fall after summer over. Better yet, put in some airpods and walk around an indoor flea market/antique store and get hit with nostalgia.

This is a moody album.

Like I said, people were let down because it lacked those summer upbeat vibes. As a final album, it was depressing. But give it another shot because now we know its not their final album and you can listen to the CD knowing it wasn’t their goodbye.

Says it all. I’m not going. I have a ticket. Sell it cheap

I saw they just announced Yellocard is playing this years Food & Wine festival. I know they have played the last few years as well. The website currently has 3 different set times for the festival, does anyone know the band played 3 different sets last year or one big set? Thanks for the heads up
