 don’t think WWE is done with Bayley vs Valkyria. They could be, but hopefully not as there is more to be done. Turning heel and leaving Bayley unconscious inside the ring was a great start. Now, WWE needs to continue the feud and bring Bayley back to TV. Even if she is leaving WWE, let her put over a former friend. I wouldn’t make the feud one-sided. Let Bayley get the better in some outings as it will intensify the angle.

Picture both women covered in blood, the hard way, in the final match. Perhaps, throw in a gimmick like Last Woman Standing or an I Quit Match. Not every superstar will retire in WWE and that’s absolutely fine. Let Bayley join AEW to work with a slew of unfamiliar names and her friend, Mone. At the same time, Valkyria continues to create her place in the WWE women’s division as an unstable threat to any title. Babyface Valkyria was never going to get far with veterans trying to keep their spot. Now, a heel Lyra Valkyria has been nothing but a smashing hit. You can have Charlotte with her fingertips on the belt, only for Bliss to knock her down. Yes, that is all legal in a Ladder Match. But, have Bliss go a step further. Let her channel “The Fiend” as she spews mist into Charlotte’s eyes. Even if WWE doesn’t book Bliss in the match, a similar outcome can happen. Maybe, Charlotte is out numbered from outside interference and Bliss seemingly comes to her rescue. Within seconds, she lands Sister Abigail on her now former friend. Granted, since everyone loved Bray Wyatt, the reaction would be positive. When Vince McMahon sold the WWE, it was merged with the UFC, under the company name TKO. It’s a fitting name. There were lots of questions, considering a McMahon family member always owned WWE and Dana White was the boss of the UFC for decades. We got two global companies that occasionally do some cross-promoting. It hasn’t been that much.

The UFC having big names outside of the business present is always common. Same for WWE, but perhaps not as much as the UFC. Nowadays, you cannot watch the WWE without seeing celebrities involved. In the past, WWE brought in massive names for wrestling matches like Mr. T., Bad Bunny and Mike Tyson. They have also, in recent memory, flopped at times with Pat McAfee, Jelly Roll and Travis Scott. Now, don’t get me wrong. McAfee and Jelly Roll were great, but only at select moments. Scott was an embarrassment and danger from day one.

Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton had a great storyline, even before their build to WrestleMania 42. Both delivered what they needed, but then the main event of WrestleMania took a seat to the side. McAfee and Jelly Roll were inserted and it made no sense, outside of bringing some new eyes to pro wrestling. Actual fans of the sport hated it and WWE doesn’t seem to have learned a lesson. That brings us to December and Oba declares his entrance in the Royal Rumble. He could either be somewhat dominant or cause pure destruction. It just depends if WWE wants Oba to eliminate 5 or 15 superstars. I think one year, Oba will break the record for most eliminations in a single Royal Rumble.

With the Royal Rumble in the past, Reigns vs Femi is set to close WrestleMania 43. Throw everything at Femi, only for him to still leave as the new Undisputed WWE Championship. Ending the career of Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam and then dethroning Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania would put Oba Femi in a special category that might only include Cody Rhodes. CM Punk

Shortly after WrestleMania 42, CM Punk disappeared from TV. He returned and made a statement, by replacing Cody Rhodes to defeat Sami Zayn and become Undisputed WWE Champion. Ending Sami’s reign at 9 days caused anger, but Punk was the perfect option. WWE was coming from Chicago and even if Punk belittled the city, they would still cheer him. Punk is back and already wearing gold heading into SummerSlam. We are now all living in the ‘summer of Punk’ and yes, that’s a direct reference to the final few months of his time in Ring of Honor (ROH).

When Nick Aldis signed with WWE, we all thought he would finally get to wrestle for the largest pro wrestling company in the world. He proved himself in the NWA and TNA Wrestling. So, when he was announced as the general manager of SmackDown, it felt like a major letdown. When Kevin Owens was unable to compete against Randy Orton at WrestleMania, Aldis should have been the replacement. Obviously, it did not happen but a match at SummerSlam opposite Gunther will be announced soon. Even if it’s one match and done, I’m glad Nick Aldis gets his WWE moment.

Kenny Omega was in rough shape a few years ago. Forget about pro wrestling for a second. Omega was diagnosed with diverticulitis and doctors said if he waited another 24 hours without medical help, he would likely be dead. Thankfully, his health improved and “The Cleaner” was able to get back inside an AEW ring. I feared he would lose to MJF and never be able to challenge for the AEW World Championship again. AEW pulled a fast one and Omega is once again at the top of AEW. He bypassed death and now he’s going to headline All In against Will Ospreay. The WWE has found themselves in an unfamiliar spot. In fact, it might be the first time WWE has ever had such a problem. We are talking about the women’s division on RAW and SmackDown. They are packed with superstars, with many making a solid case for a title run.

We have the WWE Women’s Championship, Women’s World Championship, WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship, WWE Women’s United States Championship, and WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Then, there are the belts in NXT. However, I am simply focusing on the main roster and Jordynne Grace.

This one comes down to Grace. Yes, she is seemingly being ignored in WWE and that might not change until after WrestleMania 43. That’s like 8 months away, so there’s risk involved. I’d keep collecting the WWE money, while saving a bunch of it, and if the promotion still has no plans after an extended period, look elsewhere. When I first saw Gable, like many, Kurt Angle came right to mind. Both went through the Olympics and their styles are similar. I don’t think there is a person who can replace Angle. However, someone like Gable is a close comparison. Gable and probably Kendall Grey are the closest thing we have to high-caliber wrestlers.

Have Gable leave SummerSlam as the new Intercontinental Champion. Then, let’s see how he does with singles gold on the main roster. An impressive title reign could result in a major match for WrestleMania 42. Now, if Gable loses to Penta, I feel like all the momentum he gained while under the mask and without it, will be for nothing. Over the past few days, I noticed Keith Lee and Michin were in headlines. Apparently, the couple got divorced and the internet went a little nuts. Divorce happens all the time, so nothing too shocking to relay on that end.

There are reports stating Breakker spoke to WWE about his spot. He was frustrated and apparently pitching ideas. To me, it sounds like Breakker is growing tired of WWE not giving him their top prize. Remember, he is a Steiner and they are notoriously hotheaded. And, bad at math. Maybe, he simply needs to stay calm.

If I was WWE, give Breakker more TV time with Heyman. Working alongside Paul will help smarten Breakker up to a tough business. Once the Oba Femi craze dies-down, fans will want to know the next major star. WWE already has that star in Bron Breakker; he just needs to wait patiently on creative.

Historic WWE Championship Reigns

Most superstars look to win various gold in WWE, but not Brock Lesnar. He only aims for the top tier belts, hence why he is a 7 time WWE Champion and 3 time WWE Universal Champion. Lesnar won his first title against The Rock at SummerSlam 2002. He had only been on the roster for like 6 months and he beat one of WWE’s top stars clean. Another unforgettable reign was his 503 Universal Championship run, which seemed cooler before Roman Reigns obliterated that number. When he ended Kofi Kingston’s title dream in 7 seconds on SmackDown, the moment was a letdown for Kofi. However, it showed how WWE will always push him to the top; even if it hurts other veterans along the way. Following a five year hiatus, Conor McGregor returned inside the octagon at UFC 329. He was injured seconds into the fight with Max Halloway. In 69 seconds, the extended wait was over and we now have more questions than beforehand. The biggest moment to ponder from the show was if McGregor is officially done with MMA after back-to-back major injuries.

With TKO owning the UFC and WWE, the odds of both sides sharing talent makes sense. However, look for more MMA fighters to join pro wrestling than the other way around.

If Conor McGregor transitions to WWE, these are 3 programs he should work.

Roman Reigns Vs Conor McGregor

The WWE roster is loaded with names who have only competed in pro wrestling. To me, Roman Reigns has been the top guy for the last decade in WWE. The early years were rough, but his 1,000 plus day title run and being the leader of The Bloodline solidified his spot at the top. Reigns points his finger to the sky, along with the crowd, as he is the number one wrestler in WWE. MMA fighters do the same. If Conor McGregor wants to be the Superman of WWE, challenge Reigns. Yes, Reigns certainly has the size and power but Conor has a mean left hand. Roman Reigns vs Conor McGregor might be the biggest cross-promotional match ever.

Lola Vice

To keep things fresh, WWE could easily go into NXT and find a wrestler who could be promoted to the main roster. Then, she declares she is taking over SmackDown and we instantly have a champion after either a battle royal or small tournament. Currently, the NXT roster has lots of new faces after so many wrestlers were called to RAW or SmackDown. Lola Vice went from an MMA fighter in Bellator to WWE wrestler. The transition was smooth and her viral twerking might have helped. Vice is somewhat of a veteran of NXT and I see her having no problems, making the leap to SmackDown champion.
