I played wonder king back in the days the first time around with a friend of mine. I heard through out the years that a relaunch of being worked on. It’s finally back out? Is it still like it was, worse or better?

Is there a guide or way to get Wonderking KR working outside of Korea. I used VPN to access website, but the game gives me errors when trying to launch.

Does someone here know where i can drop the acessories for the collection on wonderking global? I've only manage to find knight on silent forest and lamuphel/fran's on forest of destruction.

I already tried to reinstall the game, not solved the problem. What i can do to solve this?

The game is stuck on 0% on my client, shows network activity but no disk activity. Constantly says ~1:30 remaining but never makes progress. I was wanting to see just how bad this release is for myself, but I don't even know if it's going to let me at this rate. Is this normal? Is there a way I can just download a manual installer like this thing used to have or is it only on steam?

Edit: It now says the download is corrupt. Clearing cache and removing/adding the game hasn't worked.

I use Linux (Nobara KDE to be exact). I can't play this game because this error pops up every time and then crashes the game and closes. Can someone help? I'm using ProtonGE's latest version if that means anything.

The experience points gain starts out fast but seems to slow down after a certain level. Also note that after about 1 week of the server being open, there are a few level 190's around. What are your thoughts on the speed of leveling up? Should the developers try to increase the EXP or mostly keep the current pace?

Thinking about trying the game since i really liked maplestory back in the day, always liked playing a healer. So what is the big difference between Saint and Priest? Which would you say is the better healer?

Man, I wasn't expecting a whole lot from this re-release, but this is beyond my worst expectations.

What in the hell is this? No wonder the game is sitting on Steam with the possibly worst reviews of all time, it is a absolute shell of what it was back then. It seems they found every ways to disregard the magic the game had back then.

Some of us have been waiting over a decade for this and this is the final product we get. The P2W stuff is not even the worst part honestly, the lack of polish and the ''new systems'' are.

The only remaining charm is the Wonderking aesthetic, minus the UI. The music and the artstyle is still timeless.

I hope this game shuts down sooner than later to save other the disapointment of playing such a poor rendition of a truly special experience.

Costume stats that give 50 procent attack and 2 procent zed gain

Ability stats can be upgraded with diamonds (real money) so you can basically have 300 procent all base stats if someone spends like 10k (idk numbers) You can at least get that slowly with zed as well

VIP system where vip silver needs 500000 points (i strongly assume 1 diamond spent or recharged equals 1 point) Silver gives costume bracelets that gives 25 procent atk dmg and 5 zed gain (you get two so i assume you can equip both for imba 50 procent atk gain)

VIP gold is likely way more expensive than silver and plat way more expensive than gold. Plat VIP also gives an infinity healing pot

Pet needed to pick up items, but said pet also needs cash shop food to do that.

You are very likely going to need permanent bag spaces as well (that would by itself be ok if all the things above was not a thing) to play the game without needing to sell all the time

You can buy auto battle time with real money, so you dont need to manually grind.

At this point Maplestory M is a better game

Got to lvl53 ran out of pots wouldn't let me buy more kept getting an error when trying to buy them so taking a break for now.
Auto battle kinda aight for when you gotta go do stuff but it's kinda janky, getting to lvl 50 is super fast 50+ is snails pace. Went with mage, the barrier is OP for grinding gives no knockback and you can mass teleport in the air to cover a large distance lmao.

EDIT: Circus NPC is where we buy pots atm, the other one is bugged.

EDIT2: 62 now. A tip to find quests is look for the arrow pop out just under your level/Auction Hall to track quests you need to complete, I didn't see that for a long time and also party up in grinding spots whenever you can because you get way more gold and XP.

As soon as you get 60 head to 'Specialty Product Store' and join/make a group and grind there for feathers for 'Stealing Birds' plus some insane XP and gold gains.
You can literally stay here until 90 if you want as long as you're in a 5 man group.

I believe, to say Wonderking turned into a hypercasual mobile game with no soul and pure fast paced gameplay loop like those brainroty apps on app store would not be an overstatement.

With that in mind, is the Korean version the same kind of hypercasual nonsense? Or is it more like the original? I would try joining the korean version if it was like the original (Tho a fresh server would be the most epic) but developed further over the years.

As I open the game, I'm greeted with the following message: ‘Duplicate Login.’
Does this happen to anyone else, or does anyone know how to solve it?

Just joined the Playtest and it gets stuck on loading data.

I read a lot of "bad report" on the closed beta.

Is it anything close to the old Wonderking? I didnt play this since they shut down EU Servers.
I really missed this game :D

EDIT: Tried, here is my take on it.

- Very fast gameplay loop, kinda repetitive so far

1. Take the quest
2. Immediate fast travel to quest location
3. Kill stuff
4. Immediate fast travel to quest turn in NPC
5. Repeat

To explain this in terms of how it feels:
- Addictive as hell (not in a good way) = Feels like a mobile game with those endless clicky loops that want to keep you hooked as long as possible
- I do not feel to be "present in the moment" at all = I just stay in the loop, not even looking at much of the very nice design the game has

BUGS
- Well, it is a beta, so bugs appear - as well as a game crashing one bellow.
- Lots of text is wrong
- Stats get assigned automatically, I think it was not intended.
- Starting the game takes kinda long, probably server issue

IMPORTANT
My game just crashed after fast travel to quest with lvl 102 requeirements - DO NOT DO THAT, it bugs your character, you cannot log into him again. If you do, it crashed with audio and black screen.
Fun part is, a dude told me it happened to him about 5 minutes before it happened to me - he created a new character cuz he couldnt log in either.

What I liked:
- The early game seems more enjoyable. There isnt the starting classless class and you just straight choose your class from the get go. Gives you access to many active spells quickly, so it is more flashy.
