As much as I truly enjoy replaying Ghost Mode (still trying for the Tier 1 achievement), I hate that Sam Fisher mission more than anything else. It is the least stealthiest mission out there, and I think Ubisoft messed up on an opportunity to make a stealth mission (maybe 2 in this case) where you can only use a pistol and diversion lures (including for your drone) to complete the missions.
Fighting off a whole-ass army is not my idea of a Splinter Cell-esque mission. This and those Protect the Radio Transmitter side missions are truly annoying, especially on Extreme Difficulty.

Just messing around with some screenshots I captured in-game and put together this poster styled after the old Definitive Edition cover. Figured it was a good time with the Last Rites update dropping, new mission plus full game in 60FPS/4K.
Curious what everyone thinks of it so far. Also saw Ghost Recon's official account teasing more news for August 6th, the 25th anniversary, so sounds like there's more coming soon.

Wildlands is fun, goofy, grim and repetitive but I love it loads.
I wish Ubisoft or maybe even a different developer could create a world like Ubisoft did with Bolivia and tell a gory, morally gray, grounded yet explosive follow up to Wildlands of a new IP.
It is pretty obvious Wildlands was originally meant to be set in Mexico. Imagjne a game set in one single Mexican state like Sinaloa, Sierra Madre, Oaxaca, we're CIA embedded with Mexican special forces and we have to take down the cartel of that area.
Except this time, the developer puts effort into how the weapons and equipment work. Think, Ready or Not combat and tone and squad management, Wildlands exploration and world building.
I'm regards to fallout or potential controversy, every single name and location minus the name of the country can be fictionalised. The 3 biggest Mexican narco bosses were all taken down on the past 10 years or, there are a lot of stories to be told influenced by that!
What do you think, you think we're done with the drug war in South America? No more sicario hunting?

I'm not sure if it's just me or if anyone else is having issues with Wildlands getting stuck on the screen with the "Loading" text indefinitely when starting the game. I've seen online that going into the BIOS and changing a few settings fixes this on Windows 11, but I'd prefer if they released a patch so I could play without having to mess with anything (especially now that almost everything for PC is so expensive)

I’ve owned the physical copy of the game since 2017 back when I preordered the game (Still have the game disc) and play the game quite regularly (over 3400 hours). Was super excited to hear about this new Definitive Edition.
However, I’m confused as I’m being charged $80 for a pack that I have everything in. Is this the same for everyone else? Or am I being charged this because now that I have game pass it’s assuming I don’t own the base game anymore?
Thanks in advance.

Already have completed a few regions trying to go for the 100% and I seem to not have one of the Bowman files. I’ve already completed Itacua yet the boss still says unknown.

Pretty much the tittle. I was surfing the wiki for some info and their birth years caught my attention as I remember El Sueño saying he and El Muro worn born hours apart in one of The Word of El Sueño regarding the head of security.
The only logic explanation for this in my view is if they were born in new year/new years eve. But really, anyone knows about this? Did Ubi said anything about this before? Is it just plot error?
