Mussoorie secret waterfall

Same waterfall as I posted before, but this time from real close and with slowmotion capture you can see something you normally never notice!

The video is zoomed through the inshot app to remove other mobile cameras (recording the same) from the frame.

Willamette Falls pronounced (Will Am -Mit) rhymes with Dam It.

-1,500' wide 20-40' drop. The second largest by volume in the US after Niagara.

- Biggest falls in any US State (Niagara is shared with our friends in Canada)

-Willamette River flows to the North. Which is common in Oregon.

-Willamette River starts and ends in just 1 state, which is, of course, Oregon.

- water temp today 23.6C at 20:15 PDT about 74.5F

- Water Volume 5,820 cubic feet per second.

- Water Velocity for volume calculations .53 feet per second which is .36mph or .162 m/s .58 kph

The flow was the lowest I've ever seen. But I don't go look very often.

Highest recorded level at Newberg is 160,000 cfs, 4,350 cubic meters per second, or 1.2M gallons per second in January 2002.

However estimated levels during the flood of 1996 could be around 350,000 to 460,000 right above the falls.

Niagara Falls averages 85,000 cfs. Thus occasionally Willamette can be bigger by volume. Thankfully not very often.

Yesterday I posted the same waterfall, today I'm showing you if from near - waist deep in water feeling the small water particles on my skin I took a closer look at the waterfall.

You can see the bridge above - several hundred, maybe even a thousand cars pass it daily, but this waterfall is invisible to most, people see only the thinner waterfall on the other side. But those who are not lazy (like me) come down here to see it in full beauty. And water is refreshingly cool even in summer heat!

Didn't take the short hike to the upper ,this time.

Went upstream of a small mountain creek and found this small but nice waterfall - of course had to take a slowmotion video, pictures and dip in it.

My family and I are visiting Xingyi in Guizhou Province China. I was completely overwhelmed by these waterfalls. Some of the best I have ever witnessed. We didn’t even make it to the most popular ones because my 2yr old tired out.
