been dealing with sublingual warts on all fingers and toes, probably had em for a while but 6/7 months ago my fingers began to swell and i had restricted mobility. i’ve never seen anything like this , not even sure what im dealing with except that it’s so horrific that it’s nearly funny.

i believe these will resolve quickly since they seem shallow but obviously im not going to be shocked if otherwise. enjoy, pic of fingers from couple years ago for reference

progress with supplements only

Hey y’all just wanna share how starting on supplements only is going. After two/three years trying basically everything topical that me and my doctors could find i finally committed to just taking supplements and doing nothing else. I started zinc about 3-4 weeks ago, and inosine pranobex about 1-2 weeks ago. I only started taking pictures a while ago, when the zinc already started to show massive improvements so forgive me for no older pics. The one on my left hand was literally so bad, cracked deep and bleeding, scaly all over and deformed my whole finger. Don’t have any pictures of that because i was ashamed of it for so long.

Pics 1-5: left hand, july 10-today
Pics: 6&7: right hand, old pic i found from april, zoomed in so bad quality -> today

Salt water vs wart, no progress

Been treating this mosaic for almost a year. Tried cryo, acv, SA, high dose of zinc picolinate, and salt water, but this won't budge.

I started saturated salt water everyday for 1 hour beginning from July 7. Until today, still no progress. I am kinda frustrated. I saw several posts that salt water might be a miracle after a study said it will clear warts within 8 weeks. Those posts had great difference in their before after picts, even though with only 3 days differences.

what I did, with hottest water from my tap, I was adding salt until it was saturated. then I bathed my feet for an hour everyday. Still zero result.

does salt water even work? Do I need to switch to other treatment?

Pls don’t be rude but what do I do

Post image

First and foremost, please no one be rude below because I’m already crying every single day about how bad this is. It’s taking a lot of courage for me to post this. My cuticles I don’t even know how to get rid of these warts since it’s completely surrounded.

I’ve gone to the drs and had them freeze them, and it’s done nothing.

All of the really red bumps I’ve been putting liquid on and it’s been making a difference, but now my next challenge are the cuticles.

Please help in anything I can do, am I able to put Compound W all around them?! I’m scared to do that and I’ve been putting it off, but seriously I cannot live like this anymore.

Again, please don’t come in the comments attacking me, my self confidence has dropped expeditiously and I’ve even learned how to use my left hand to eat, write, and other things just so I don’t have to keep my right hand in view.

This has been the most depressing thing (which yes it could be a lot worse), but please if your hands don’t look like this, don’t take it for granted. I never knew I’d be in this position and it’s horrible.

Any advice is appreciated. Thank you

Is this a wart?

So I've had this bump on my finger but its barely noticeable and I can only really tell its there by feeling for it. I've worried its a wart so I treated it one night with SA but it burned and I took it off and bandaged the area. The only visible part is a tiny dot is this the start of a wart? Im just really worried

(MY fingers are wet because I just washed my hands and the white around the dot was from the SA)

Progress isnt linear - 2 weeks of treatment

Tried to take a picture every time i debrided and treated what i'm told is likely a wart on my hand. Fascinated as it looks different every time. Pics marked with SA already have treatment applied, others are exposed.

Im not looking for recommendations on treatments, im following instructions on pharmacist recommended medication.

Need expert advice – is my wart finally gone?

These photos show the progress of my wart treatment from before to where it is now. I’d really appreciate some feedback from anyone with experience treating warts.

Does it look like the wart has been completely removed or is there still wart tissue remaining?
If you think there’s still some left what makes you say that?

Photo 1: Before treatment
Photos 2–3: Current appearance

I’ve documented my entire treatment journey with additional photos on my profile if anyone wants to see how it’s progressed.

OCD and warts: seeking reassurance to stop a compulsive loop of “wart removal”. Please help :(

Post image

I need help figuring out if I’m going insane.

Months ago I had a small wart in the area marked in green in the picture. 1 or 1,5mm in diameter.

I removed it with multiple applications of salicylic acid. And I mean a lot. Digging all the way into the flesh.

When the skin healed, the dermatologist told me TWICE (during separate visits at one month distance) that it is gone.

He told me to leave the skin alone…

Still: I have obsessive-compulsive disorder, and it’s currently manifesting itself in recurring bouts of fear that maybe, just maybe, the wart is back…

…Which leads me to repeat the whole process of removing layers of skin, applying more acid, and still finding some “mysterious dots” that may be signs of a wart.

I just can’t stop, no matter what my dermatologist keeps telling me.

So this is what I did again. For three more weeks, I applied salicylic acid plasters and removed another 2mm-deep layer of skin.

Now, I can see little red dots where suspect wart used to be: my OCD is telling me that this may be the wart again and that I should resume digging.

Mind you: some of the dots are outside the area where the wart used to be.

Rationally, I know it literally can’t be the wart. But what else can it be? What can cause little red dots? Could it be from the skin removal?

I need more people with a sane brain to tell me if I can finally relax or if I should still be concerned.

Please help!

Would you say it's gone?

Hi Reddit,

I've had a wart on my finger for about 2 months. Went to the pharmacy 3 weeks ago and asked for treatment and was sold a Bazuka gel.

I've been using it for about 2.5 weeks with a few one off days in that period.

The wart flattened within a week. It peeled off and exposed the blood vessels underneath. I kept applying the gel and filing every two days. A few days ago, after filing, the skin was totally flat and had no blood vessels visible. The blood vessels reappeared the next day, so I applied again. Yesterday I filed and it bled quite a lot, so I applied pressure, put a plaster on and went to sleep.

Woke up today and I see there's a little wound but skin lines appear all the way around just not where the wound is. Does this look finished to you?

I've attached pictures. One from the internet that shows what it looked like initially Vs 2 pics of what it looks like right now.

Should I just let it heal at this point and would you say it's gone?

My finger is so raised after the SA bandages. I can’t tell if it’s good skin or if it’s part of the wart. any thoughts?

Does anyone know if my cuticles will grow back too??! I’m scared my finger nails won’t have anything to attach to

Should I treat again? First 2 pics are current (were taken at the same time, one with flash and one without). 3rd pic is how it started, 4th & 5th pics are the last time I treated it.

Accidentally cured my plantar warts!

Back in February I had what I believe to be ‘geographic tongue.’ Very painful when I tried to eat anything. I googled around and maybe even searched Reddit for a remedy.

Somewhere, someone suggested taking B12. I bought a bottle and within 4-5 days of taking it, my tongue was almost 100% better! I went on vacation in March for a few days and forgot to take the B12. My tongue started hurting again. Started up the B12 when I got back home, and within a few days, my tongue was better again. I have continued taking B12 almost every day since February.

I had one plantar wart on the bottom of my foot I first noticed about 10 years ago. I had a dermatologist try to freeze it off and it didn’t do anything. I just lived with it for about 5 more years. I found Wart stick on Amazon and started applying it every night with duct tape on top for a while. It was doing good at getting the skin around the wart, but was taking a long time. I eventually stopped that because I got tired of doing it every night.

I then went to another dermatologist and he told me it was large and deep, and if he cut it out, it would be very painful for a while. He gave me some cream…I’ll be honest, I didn’t apply it like I was supposed to. Then I noticed I was getting more warts around the first one and some on/under my toes.

I started up the wart stick again this April…it seemed to be helping the smaller ones and the ones under/on my toes. Then I gave up again. I decided about a month and a half ago to check and see how many more I had gotten. To my complete surprise, ALL of them are almost completely gone! 2 were large and on the ball of my foot. They were painful when I walked sometimes.

I somehow stumbled upon something that said people that get plantar warts usually lack B12…Bingo! It seriously has almost completely gotten rid of them in 5 months of regularly taking B12. 🤯

Just wanted to post my accidental discovery of a way to get rid of them. If someone else tried it and it works, please report back! I just hope it helps someone. Warts are seriously so annoying!

1 week progress with 40% SA Wartstick

My daughter has an upcoming foot surgery next month that is hinging on these warts being gone. We made great progress I think especially considering we have been on vacation this week so we haven’t been able to do the salt saturated soaks but there is still more debriding to do. She has a prescription for wartpeel that should be at the house by the time we get home this evening. Surgery is set for Aug 18th… how close do we look?

The side by side is 1 week apart and the second photo is about 2 weeks ago.

We are applying the wartstick 2x a day for the most part and debriding every other day as she tolerates it using tweezers to pull up the dead skin that is ready. I know a razor of some kind would probably be better but she won’t tolerate that unfortunately.

Used the freezing stuff over the counter for 6 sessions

Didn't seem to do anything

Changed to bazzuca gel and using the file on it for 2 weeks now, finally seem to be exposing the wart but no idea how deep it goes

It is painful if we touch it, when he's got shoes on he walks ok but once in socks he is walking with his heel up

Anything else we can do or just keep going with the gel and scrapping it away?
