Got a phone call while playing a match, as soon as I saw the number I knew what it was. Naturally I got so absorbed by it I completely forgot about the match and when I returned I was the only player left on my team and the other team was furious, so I had to explain myself. They were good sports about it so I let them kill me for good measure.

For those saying it will be food for the enemy, yes that is true, but, it can also provide opportunities to gain technical knowledge on how it actually should be played and let people understand what stealth actually means and transfer that knowledge into other modes, and for those saying it is unfair only one side gets it, just give it to both side. Just say the enemy stole few and reversed engineered it, slap a red decal on it and call it a day, they already do the same for Sherm family in tanks based on nation, people aren't really playing for historical accuracy in the mode either and I don't care if both sides have it (probably majority of players wont care; in fact would probably be excited about playing it <some might actually buy after :wink wink;>), adds an extra dynamic and gives people another role lane to play and hunt out the more problematic anti air stuff.

Yes, I know about the improved engine and transmission, but the added armor makes it weigh almost twice it's 7.7 counterpart.

Can we seriously talk about how absurd the IA-58 is at 4.3 Ground RB?
This thing was introduced in 1969, yet it’s flying against early WW2 tanks that often have little to no effective way of dealing with it. I know BRs aren’t supposed to be based solely on the year a vehicle entered service, but it’s hard to justify a Cold War-era attack aircraft being this low when it’s so effective against tanks from the early 1940s.
The IA-58 has excellent loiter time, can make repeated attack runs, and can completely dominate a match if nobody spawns competent SPAA or a fighter. At 4.3, a lot of teams simply don’t have reliable ways to deal with it, especially early in the match.
The balance just feels completely off. It doesn’t belong fighting early WWII lineups at this BR, and it deserves to be moved up. Right now it’s one of the most frustrating aircraft to face in Ground RB because it can dictate the match with very little risk compared to what it’s fighting.
