I saw people were doing fancasts and this fuckass meme flashbanged me in the head so I had to edit it to be a voltron version

• Joey Iwanaga as Shiro - TBH it was kind of difficult to find a younger Japanese-American actor who could pull off good action scenes, but Joey Iwanaga was pretty good in The Furious and Alice in Borderland
• Marsai Martin as Allura - I liked Marsai in Black-ish, and she was really the only person who came to mind so I went with her
• Dallas Liu as Keith - Honestly, I really liked Dallas Liu as Zuko in ATLA despite me not being too fond of the show, and I think he could pull off a good Keith. Plus, while I know most people are fond of the Korean Keith headcannon, considering he was half-Chinese in the OG series, I think it could be nice to have a Chinese actor
• Marcel Ruiz as Lance - TBH I can’t remember what I saw Marcel Ruiz in lol, but appearance-wise he seems to fit Lance well
• Isabella Sermon as Pidge - Honestly, appearance-wise she just reminds me of Pidge lol, and I liked her in Jurassic World
• Ioane Sa’ula as Hunk - It was wayyy too tricky to find a Samoan/Black actor, so I kind of had to give up with finding a good biracial cast 🥲 I liked Ioane in Heartbreak High, and if he could pull off an accent, I could see him as Hunk. He was def the most difficult though
• Rhys Darby as Coran - Enough said

EDIT: Didn't think this fancast would be so controversial 😭 I chose these actors based on THEIR ACTING ABILITY and how well they could portray the characters. Sure there are other actors that could "look closer" to the characters but imo they would not do well portraying them and it would end up looking like the ATLA live-actions 💀. Please be kind to each other in the comments (it's really not that serious!)

Used to be super into VLD in high school ten years ago. Just thought about it again today and instantly these actors came to mind for who I'd want playing the characters. Curious to hear what your guys' dream cast would look like.

Note that I focused more on who had the talent/acting style to portray the characters best and matching the intended ethnicity was secondary. Also, Jacob has alopecia and wore a wig in Spider-Man so I thought he could easily wear a wig as Hunk too.

I keep saying I have enough Voltrons. Can you really ever have too many? As soon as Blitzway puts out vehicle Voltron I'm dropping the coin on that one too. 🤦🏽‍♂️

I am looking for a fic based on a tumblr prompt from years ago where Lance doesn’t feel like the team is paying attention to him ever and so he will just say absurd things to try and get a reaction. Eventually he starts actually doing the things he says he will like getting tattoos and piercings and he changes a lot but the team doesn’t notice. The only people who pay attention to him are Allura and Coran and he becomes very close with them, even learning Altean. Does anyone know this fic?

Hi guys!! For context it the title yes I’m writing a Voltron book on wattpad

I’d say I’m quite skilled ish at writing and figuring out plots but I cannot decide on what should the baseline of background for Y/N be.

First idea:

Y/N grew up in the galra until she was 5, as lotors daughter and her mother was an ice princess who died at childbirth, Haggar (Honerva) felt threatened that one day y/n would rise as a very powerful ice galran princess and witch (after gaining some of Haggars magic) and try to over power Lotor or even Zarkon.

Haggar sent her druids to send Y/N to an abandoned planet in hopes that she would die, what Haggar didn’t know is that the Blade of Marmora’s base wasn’t that for from that planet.

Kolivan just happened to be on that same planet when he had scanned the planet for a living life force and found
Y/N, of course Y/N was very scared and very guarded but Kolivan immediately took her back to the Blade of Marmora base.

Over the years after that Kolivan and
Y/N took time getting close, Y/N had no memories of her life before Kolivan found her, maybe it was the trauma from her being abandoned or the druids just erased her memory.

At 17 years old Y/N was skilfully trained in combat by Kolivan personally and sometimes Y/N helped him during missions, one day Kolivan gave Y/N her very own personal mission, to guard the red lion that was in Sendak’s possession, Signs of Voltron being back started happening and Kolivan wanted to make sure that the red lion was protected.

After a few days of guarding the red lion, Keith suddenly arrived for the lion, at first before any of the soldiers arrived to fight Keith and Y/N, Keith started fighting Y/N thinking she was the bad guy before she started defending him bla bla bla Y/N gets hit with one of the soilders guns in the ribs, and gets knocked by a cargo box as it comes flying out when Keith opened up the hangar door, Keith of course saved Y/N and brought her back to the castle of lions (I’ll stop her as I don’t want to spoil to much in case anyone would like to read it)

(Also for this one I don’t know if she should know she’s lotors daughter from the start or not, I think it’ll add a lot of resentment on how lotor never came looking for her and how he never stopped it from happening, and maybe in the end they could possibly have a good father and daughter relationship.

Second idea:

Y/N had a happy childhood with Lotor, although his parenting was a bit odd and he was barely there as she got older due to her grandfathers demanding nature to Lotor.

As Y/N grew older she noticed how ruthless her grandfather was, she could tell he was extremely mad and unhinged and her father wasn’t far off.

Y/N happened to be on Sendak’s ship when the paladins came for the Red lion, she was there because Zarkon needed to demand Sendak for something and he couldn’t be there in person so she was officially the last resort apart from one of Zarkon’s closet allies.

So of course she went to Please her father and also her grandfather, when she got there she was immediately mistaken for a prisoner that escaped by one of Sendak’s guards and was locked up with the other prisoners when the paladins arrived.

She thought the paladins might’ve killed her if she ever found out that she’s a descendent of Zarkon so she kept quiet, and when they saved her and took her to the castle of lions, when the first Robeast came she helped the paladins how to defeat it from seeing it being harmed a thousand times, one times being shiro, when she did that they asked her to stay and fight along side them, so she did.

Third idea:

When Y/N was just a baby, there was a huge fight between her parents on how her mother didn’t want her to grow up at all in the galra due to what’s she seen happening to planets and people through the years, of course Lotor retaliated against her mother and told her Y/N wasn’t going anywhere.

So her mother did what any other mother would do, she sent her daughter to earth alone in hopes she would have a much better life than the ones her bloodline promised she would have.

On earth, shiro’s parents found Y/N in an adoption centre and immediately chosen to adopt her, over the years Shiro and Y/N were extremely close,
Y/N knew she was adopted but never knew where she came from before her adoption and quite frankly she never cared.

As Y/N grew older shiro’s parents sadly died, leaving shiro and Y/N to grow up together alone, when Y/N was 14 she joined the garrison, while she was there she befriended the very lonely Keith, even though he kept giving her the cold shoulder she never stopped trying and soon enough they became best friends.

Life was good until Shiro went on the Kerberos mission and went missing,
Y/N moved into the shack with Keith, so she wasn’t totally alone and they both dropped out of the garrison.

When Y/N seen the bright light quickly descending from the sky her whole being was just hoping it was her brother, and thankfully it was.

But when Lance, Hunk and pidge suddenly joined the crew she was a bit wary but overjoyed to have them in the cute little shack.

And when they suddenly found the blue lion she couldn’t imagine what would be next in her life.

(Again I’ll stop her as I don’t wanna spoil the book)

So guys, what should I do? Either one I’m perfectly fine with doing but I just don’t know what one, any advice would be very appreciated!

There's a small fold out peg under the shoulder when the black lion is in pre voltron mode. Also, the peg has grooves on it that match the inside of where it's supposed to slide into. I was thinking it's to keep the shoulders in place, to avoid extra movement when posing? Or just guides to help keep them up right when turning and then pressing the shoulders in place.

So I only watch season one and the start of season 2, ask me anything about the show and I’ll pretend to know the answer 👍

Just Pointing It Out TBH-

I’m writing a fanfic about my oc, Aria Qreen.
I kind of want to develop her more but i don’t know how.

Aria is very shy and meek. She is a very kind person. She suffers from very bad anxiety. Aria can be a little sassy sometimes. She does get braver as the fanfic goes on

Her backstory is that she is half Galra and half of an other species that can shapeshift.
Her dad is in the blade of marmora and was doing research on a weapon. (I basically added she-ra powder in Voltron.)
After her parents got attacked her parents landed on earth. They were found by a nice couple.
Her parents decided to give her up to the couple for them to race. They manly did this for her to stay out of the war. The couple that raised her worked in the space field.

Aria was able to hide more of her alien features from the shapeshifting power she got from her mom.

She was often bullied in school causing her to be more quiet and a bit of a push over. She also got bad anxiety.

Years later she was able to the garrison.
She got pair with Pidge, Hunk and Lance. Aria put together Pidge is not a boy. She decided not to say anything.

She was there were they found the blue lion. Later she went sent to the plant where she-ra sword. Que her being picked as the next she-ra

I watched the show in 2020 with my family, I proceeded to rewatch it with my family 1 more time before later rewatching the first 4-6 seasons yearly alone, though depending on the year I would watch more or less of it. I haven't watched any of S7 and S8 since that second rewatch with my family.

I found myself surprised looking at the overview of rating the show, because I'd told myself my favorite season was season 3 and season 4, however tied, I didn't expect season 5 and season 6 to be rated higher than both, obviously it's because of a smaller sample size generally and less room for failure in story-writing (because it was the business end and had far less filler) which makes the average rating seem higher than my own personal feelings towards the season.
