I had the tiniest little hole in my shorts and had to put my favorite fruit on it!

Should I donate these or add them to my scrap fabric for future patches?

Backstory: I made these pants to shorts for my son. He tore the knees all the way across so decided to make them shorts. He picked the color. Once they were done I had him try them on and he said they're too tight 🤦🏽‍♀️

My favorite jeans got discontinued so I was forced to learn how to fix them myself lol. Pocket patch was a patch I made with double-sided iron-on adhesive and fabric, then I stitched it down with a whip stitch. Also added a secondary iron-on patch on the inside for extra support and the section at the top just for some contrast.

For context, I hand-sewed everything and the most I've done prior is fix the occasional tear in clothing or a stuffed animal. It took me a day and a half to stitch everything into place hahaha. (Also ignore the lighting differences, I have rgb lights in my room where I took the first pic)

I really like it! I havent try reparing anything yet but i love the sub, any idea or tip would help since i have no idea how to repair it (i dont knit but do know how to sew)

Finally got around to fixing my old college bag! First time mending something so it's not perfect, but I'm excited to use it again!

Hi all, hopefully this is the right place to post this. I am looking for some tips to mend this very old cap. I would like to remove the metal stains from the back and probably also replace the metal part if feasible. Also, do you think it is worth mending the inside of the rim? It seems to me it’s probably okay as it is but I am not an expert. Thanks.

I'm a lurker of this sub and now I need some help. I bought these shoes secondhand and I noticed that one of the shoe straps has a small tear. I might have to actually find a professional since the strap is made out of fabric and soft leather but I figured I should ask here if there's a chance I can do it myself at home. Is this something I can fix at home or should I find a cobbler?
