So I'm trying to make a toy that has a string hang between your hands.

I know I could just... grab it, but I would really prefer if this was controlled by a toggle. Something that can't be easily dropped, and doesn't require you to grab the end to get the effect.

I tried constraining the end of the chain, but that looks wrong. It doesn't "hang" the end of the chain from that point like you'd want it to, just send the end flying to that location.

InsideBounds collider doesn't seem to work either, the child bones can't force the parent's physbone anywhere they weren't gonna go.

I would rather not just have the string pulled taught across the hand either, which would be an easier solution (just one bone pulled across), but wouldn't look as nice.

Any advice before I try setting up some godawful constraint mess for every bone on the chain to make it look right?

Hey y'all! So I’m not sure if I’m reading this incorrectly or getting the wrong idea, but why do the rules say no furries? Aren’t a lot of booth avatars furries? I brought this up because I was thinking about joining the group, since I have a booth furry avatar, until I read the rules. Unless the rules imply that Gumroad furries are not allowed? What do you guys think of this?

I'm trying to make a blindfold work as one might infer a blindfold to work, but adding a "show in first person" VRCFury component to it doesn't seem to have worked. Is there some other way to do it? Or am I just doing it wrong?

In case anyone's curious, its for a maze race. The racer is blind and has to be directed by their teammate who can see the whole maze.

Are there any quest compatible avatars with face tracking support built in that I can buy?

I have a quest pro, and while I have my own PC compatible avatars with face tracking support, I'd like one that I can use with friends who play VRchat on quest standalone, for them to see an actual avatar and not just a pixelated imposter of my PC one.

Logic says that the blend shapes required for full face tracking would make a quest avatar too heavy... But I thought I should ask anyway.

So I was putting in a new texture I bought and while doing so I added a new emission layer, I put it on the wrong layer and ended up with a cool effect with an asymmetrical colour gradient.

And honestly I love it. The whole thing has come off reminding me of Ghost in the Shell. And I really couldnt be happier.

So this is my new Foxigen I guess.

Ive been reuploading this avatar so many times to fix issues i finally have everything fixed and now the preview is just a cube of on eof the avatars textures, before i reuploaded it this last time it was previewing the avatar im so confused

Hello everyone. A couple months ago I started playing Fish! and I was having a great time collecting all the fish and rods. I got up to around level 200 and eventually the game started feeling pretty repetitive, so I took a break.

I recently came back after hearing there was a new update. I played for a few hours, saw the Leviathan, but things still felt pretty quiet. I overheard some other players saying the world is basically dead now and the creator rarely adds new content.

Can anyone explain what has actually been added recently, how to unlock the new stuff, or whether it’s even worth investing more time into the game?

Also, I’m always looking for new people to hang out with in game. I’m a 36 year old unc, but I’m not age verified. My bank doesn’t offer a Visa debit, and a prepaid Visa got flagged when I tried to buy VRChat+, so I’m kind of stuck without it.

I know I'm gonna sound super nooby for saying this, but I only JUST discovered Gumroad and the ability to purchase and upload avatars yourself into the game. Needless to say, my wishlist is massive and my wallet is hurting. I've only purchased one so far, but it feels good having such a unique avatar that feels like me.

Looking at a ton of these popular avatars, especially ones by FoxiPaws, I'm only now just realizing I've seen tons of these avatars before. But I came to the realization someone could just upload an avatar as public and allow cloning. When I've told people I've paid for avatars, they act like it's a wild concept and a waste, but are using an avatar that isn't free. Are most users really just using stolen avatars?

If a creator were to find out about this, what recourse is there if any?

So I have a quest 3 and just figured out how virtual desktop works, but my battery dies pretty fast even with the extended battery. Only get like 3-4 hours of it.
I was wondering if anyone knows of where to get a really fookin long charger cable for it so it can be plugged in while I play and I'll hopefully not vanish mid-conversation again...

When I put scale adjust on an outfit on and adjust the bones with scale adjuster. Then add the next outfit and it messes up the scale adjuster components on the outfit I put on prior to the one I just put on and scale adjusted it.

It's actually really neat to see japan and mt fuji from a 360 degree panorama at the top of a Rollercoaster!!

This may be completely pointless question regarding how to make your maps more optimized, however I'm working on my first world and I while I don't aim to be perfect, I like to have certain steps that I take care of as early as possible.

My world currently is quite small and very basic. As such the question probably don't matter, but I want to already start thinking about the bigger picture: Would it be more optimized to have materials done by room or by the type of material?

What I mean is should I make UV map that contains all the metal objects. Another for all the wood objects etc. Or would it be better to have the materials restricted per room/area basis.

For current scale of the world I don't think it matters, but as mentioned before. I want to make sure I get into the flow where I make it a habit to have the "ideal way" from the get go.

There is a Burger King world which contains The Backrooms.

It's made by BachiiVR, and I only went there a couple of times before and only found the Backrooms once a few years ago.

The world was made in 2022 and was last updated that same year.

All I remember is finding a key inside the playpen that you can use.

Anyone else remember or know?

The Metaquest i use had the top headstrap snapp the bar holding it in place, if anyone can provide what replacement straps I should buy, it would be very helpful
