Was playing a match on my alt account earlier and every single time I would ult the enemy Trynd it would automatically recast. Any idea what setting if any would cause that?

I think it’s because of his lack of real engage. I feel he is a reactive champ and great peeler, or clean up. Another is, he simply gets out kited? But when I play I feel I can always gap close but maybe pro kiting is just that much better (peak d2). Probably more of a counter pick as well. And with the flex meta (mages everywhere and adcs top) it makes it obvious to know Urgot is the toplaner. Example Cass pick, but she’s actually top, not really able to flex Urgot mid/bot. Is it Mikael’s? Can just cleanse his ult or only Millio does that? Maybe just another champ to master and it’s not worth it, Urgot mechanics aren’t insane but still need practice and knowledge.

I would love to see him, since I think he’s an underrated team fighter. E for basically an unstoppable peel/reactive counter-engage and ult for AOE cc and kill security. Can set up an early lvl 3 dive too, and have priority over
melee match up sometimes. Also just a strong front liner imo, can’t tank like the classic tanks, but can force important resources or punish you for it.

I was playing him the other day, and noticed it seemed to be doing the full amount. I think it's because it's not coded as an on-hit to avoid being too strong with the other on-hit augs. But it's also not part of Attack, so neither part of the ability that normally would reduces it.

What are Urgot's strengths:

Teamfighting,Split Pushing, Locking down targets?

What Runes do we usually go and how to choose if there is a variety of them?

How to itemize correctly? Right now i rush BC - Steraks - Deadmans - Rukern - And the void armour thing that stacks resistance

Would Hullbreaker be a better fit instead of some item?

Any other general tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated!

Like getting doran's helm or sword after BC. Steraks is so far away so doran items are a very cheap spike

It gives you every stat you need and makes your w reset and chase potential even stronger, why is this item always touted as D tier? Cost?? Obviously don't buy it before cleaver but if you're ahead it's better for dueling and splitting than hullbreaker imo

So i've recently started playing urgot more and i've been thinking about experimenting abit, also im trying to get to know when to use Grasp runes when to go conq and PTA, also would electrocute rune be good on him just because he can proc it fast enough, against squishies on top that focus on poking out?
Also most of my games are with PTA really didnt try out conq or grasp so i cam here to ask before i make a mistake and lose my team some games

I realized that BC isn't always the best, recently I go Edge of the night against stuff like darius, panth, sett etc where they need to hit their first spell to engage and has a long cd. They don't really build armor either so I think the flat lethality is enough (usually in solo queue they don't have another tank). It's actually working pretty well for me.

Recently I've been seeing some mage top or Loke with no tank on their team so I go rookern first but idk what dmg item I should build, I just go bc by default as a second item but I feel like shojin might've been a better second. Opinions?

I get that these stuff are like a crutch since I can't dodge things but I'm in gold, I'll take whatever advantage I'll get

Ive been playing nothing but urgot lately, but his E cooldown. What the fuck riot? how is every spell by characters without mana lower cooldown? No matter how powerful. Mordekaiser E? No Mana Cost, strong displacement, almost true combo into his q, lower CD.

How is this match supposed to be played? I lost it quite hard last night and thought the right way to play it would be tp and scale but I've seen high elo urgots take ignite in op.gg. That makes me think it is just that I didn't play it correctly. Could you help me out?

I know the Urgot bible would be the best but I'm broke and don't feel comfortable spending money for these things

Darius matchup is scary

I can't ever seem to win the ones with this guy. Quante has this at like 6.5/10 skill matchup but he feels like an 8/10.

I think I struggle w getting ahead lvl 1-2 even tho thats when urgot wins. E-ing horizontally is key but it's terrifying to do early

I'm like 70 games into urgot this season and he got picked by enemy for the first time. I usually play Yorick when urgot is banned, but the game before I got destroyed by a fiora. So I picked fiora into urgot and went 1/11 and got hella tilted.

I haven't played him in a while, but wanted to play him again. I went pta with triumph, legend hast and Last stand and for secdondary I went with boneplating and overgrowth.

Items, I usually rush swifties, but went tabis since enemy team was full ad

My first item was Bandlepipes since it works good with the extra move speed after hitting q and also helps the team if I land an e, the rest was more tank items (bramble west, Dead mans plate) and not the usual bruiser items.

For support Items I choose celestias opposition, but I think solestice Sleigh would maybe be better and bloodsong could also be viable if I go an ad build like youmuus and maybe umbral glaive.

Is there anyone who still plays him support and can give advice on runes and items
