If any international student has paid their tuition with a bank loan, I am genuinely appealing to you for advice/tips…

Did you have to request docs from UoN? If so, what were they? I have only purchased the confirmation of fee letter (which doesn’t state the payment details- only a payment link) and recently submitted the form requesting for bank details.

Has anyone successfully received the university’s bank details after submitting a request? If you didn’t request for the uni’s bank details, how did you communicate with the bank you were receiving the loan from?

I am trying to transfer from my old uni to UON, and I went to apply for the computer science course and didnt get in as my offer was to get atleast 60% in each module and an average of 75% across all my modules, I am doing a foundation year at the other uni and I have applied with extenuating circumstances as I have touretts. Unfortunately, in one of my modules i had a group project where my team left all the workload on me and with all the stress and anxiety I flopped my project which led to that module getting 45% and so below 60%. So I failed to get in through the initial applications, then I applied through clearing and got told that this specific module being so low is the reason they wont let me in.

I wanted to ask what is the purpose of extenuating circumstances and what can i possibly do to get into this course at nottingham. Thank you!

I firmed my unconditional offer almost 2 weeks ago.

Unfortunately, I have not received my NottinghamHub ID, nor have I received the PDF of my official offer letter - only UCAS says that I have accepted.

Wrote in to the university on at least 5 occasions over the spread of the 2 weeks as I am concerned with the Student Visa (which I need to verify the CAS via NottinghamHub) and to secure my local bank loan (which I need the official offer letter), both of which will take time.

I have attached the email I received from the university and the screenshot of my page. Don’t see a “log ticket” button at all. Can’t call the university as I’m abroad and do not have that service available on my telco.

On the other occasions, the responses I received seemed to be copied and pasted also. I’m really worried now.

TLDR:
- Can’t log into NottinghamHub to verify CAS and can’t seem to file a technical support request too
- Have not received official offer letter to secure bank loan despite 2 weeks from firming on UCAS
- UCAS ID and Nottingham ID all appears to not be recognisable when I attempt to reset password

Hi all. I just finished my first year in engineering. Just scraped a pass and only revised for exams really. Should I go back through everything or just try to start yr2 fresh? If yes, what method should I use - just flashcards of questions or what ?

i’m in an unusual situation i have asked about it before but i got my grades back higher than expected so i now want to do law instead of criminology. i’ve been speaking to the uni and they said it’s possible but law may not be open for clearing. has anybody had a similar situation or applied for law through clearing? or anyone has any advice on what to do i don’t want to start uni next year so applying for 2027 is not an options

The email confirmation is not being sent to my email, I’ve checked every folder and spam and junk emails as well. If anyone knows about this or any alternate method to go apply to the accommodation to rectify the error please help!!

Im a newcomer at the university, and i have booked a gold ensuite for SPC. I have heard many things like SPC being full of ethnic people who make it difficult for everyone else (im an ethnic myself). Can someone give me an unbiased opinion on SpC?

Anyone know why I’m not able to see the feedback from my exams? In the past when I’ve had online written exams, I’ve been able to go on to moodle and open my exam answer, which has my feedback and the individual grade.

But this time round, the only reason I know my grades (which seem suprisingly low), is from going onto bluecastle and looking at my whole module grade and calculating the individual exam grade?

I assume its to do with the MAB and security issues seen recently. I just want to see why I was given these grades 🙏🏼

I applied for Computer Science at the University of Nottingham and received an offer before Clearing. Part of my offer says I need to upload my certificates to my NottinghamHub account by the 20th, but I never received any email about setting up or accessing a NottinghamHub account.

I called admissions and they told me to email [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]), which I did, but I haven't had a reply yet. While I was on the phone, the lady also tried to reset my NottinghamHub password but said she couldn't, which makes me think there might not even be an account set up for me.

I'm a bit worried because the deadline for uploading my documents is coming up. Has anyone else had this happen? Is there anyone else I should contact, or is it just a case of waiting for admissions to get back to me?

Did anyone have one or two modules where the marks seemed unrealistically low. Possibly due to marking disruptions?

My daughter completed one semester from Jan-June at U of N and just got her marks, one of her classes shows a grade of 20% which is not possible, the university told her it was because of the MAB boycott so the course and/or exams wasn't properly graded. I am confused what we do not to fix this? Did this happen to many students, how is this getting resolved? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you.

I got sent an email that the MAB doc was sent to my Nottingham hub but everytime I try to open it it gets à data integrity error :( anyone else have the same issue?
