Hi folks, I’m a Nova Scotian artist who sculpts tiny versions of the abandoned places I’ve found on the backroads of my province.

I found this place with its overgrown garden while out a few weeks ago, and was inspired by the broken mug I’d found half buried nearby. This piece is called “New Glasgow Morning”

This is a clay sculpture entirely handmade. No 3d printing/molds used.

This project pushed me to the limits of my patience and skill. Mostly hand brushed with a bit of masking + airbrush to create the glow/shadow, I wanted to give a final push before welcoming our first child in late August. Enjoy this picture of me exhaustedly smiling next to the piece plus some detail shots. The painting is 48x60in.

**After the Applause**
*When the lights go out and the audience has gone home, the smile is the last thing to remain. Stitched together from fragments of costume, paint and memory, this figure exists somewhere between performer and person—caught in the quiet that follows the final curtain.*

*An original mixed media embroidery combining drawing, paint and sculptural stitching. Layers of padding are stitched beneath the surface to create a three-dimensional portrait,*

Alcohol markers and sharpie pens. Somewhere between 10-15 hours to create.

Another piece I add to some of the drawings I'm making just because I can "check my profile to see more if you like this one :)"

I'm aphantasic so there is not start and there is no ending, you can look at it from any point or corner and it's done, or is it?

This is a piece I made a couple of months ago that talks about the heart condition of the human race and how society is slowly taking away our ability to care for one another in the height of global atrocities and stress. This piece is a reminder to be kind and gentle with one another, especially when we’re trying to figure out what is happening around us. Be well everybody 🖤
