Hi everyone. I’ve just finished school in Russia and did really well on my exams. I’m enrolling to study physics, and I’m genuinely curious: even in Russia, the younger generation admires top-tier American universities like MIT or Harvard—is there anything similar on your end? Like, do you know our universities? Which ones do you consider the best? Maybe Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) or MEPhI?

I’m about to start my dorm life, and I want to add some color and happiness to my room. I’m thinking about buying either a dorm rug or a door sign that can be personalized with our names or room number as a gift for us. I’m so excited for dorm life, but I’m having such a hard time deciding. Which one should I choose? It’s driving me crazy!

I've always spent most of my study time reading textbooks and class notes, but recently I've been wondering if practicing past questions is a more effective way to prepare for exams.

And recently, I was suggested ExamBase, which offers past exam questions along with mock exams, AI-powered explanations, study flashcards, and progress tracking. It got me thinking that maybe practicing questions while getting detailed feedback could be a better way to study than simply reading through chapters over and over.

For those who've tried both methods, which one has helped you the most? Do you mainly rely on textbooks, or do you spend more time working through past questions?

Hey everyone, I'm an older student (30+) returning to university to study physiotherapy.
I'll admit that it's been a long time since I've studied and I've noticed all the young people are using all sorts of different ways to make notes.

I was more of a Word Document and Anki guy back in the day, but that doesn't seem to work for this type of course where there is a lot of medical knowledge.

I did try OneNote for a while, but in all honesty, I found it quite annoying to use, plus issues with it deleting my work.

I've heard good and bad about Obsidian, but I'm still not sure.

I'd really appreciate any advice especially from those involved in studying or education on a better way to make notes. I just want to be able to make decent notes all in one place, preferably saved to my laptop and not a cloud, it would be fantastic also if I could insert images and videos too.

I have been working on the evolving landscape of Education system. With the increasing influence of AI, digital advancement, globalisation, and change in students expectations, students are not willing to learn throughout traditional methods of teaching and even they don’t want to write a single page for assessments/assignments.
