i've been on the ECV waitlist for over a month, am i cooked or is there a chance i'd get off? does anyone know many people (roughly) are on the waitlist every year?

Hello all! I am an incoming student this year who will also be dual enrolled at a local high school. As such, I will attend classes in periods 1 and 2 and return to my high school for the afternoon. I am considering doubling up on classes to take both an MWF and a TTh class in both, meaning I would complete 4 credits per semester and have two classes every day. Has anyone else tried this? If so, is it possible to keep up with homework, finals, and other class activities? Thank you for your help!

I'm transferring in as a second year and I got Brown Hall so I waitlisted to see if I could get into anything else. I just got offered a room change to O House so now I'm trying to decide whether or not to switch.

Brown Hall has Pound Hall and the Niche. It's the cheapest housing option with lots of transfers/upperclassmen. The only downside is location and I have an 8am which makes taking O House tempting.

The biggest thing is location but I was wondering if the social life, the less crowded gym, and the Niche make it worth it stay?

I have a question about Paw Points. Are they actually worth getting, and what's the point of them?

I've looked on the Dining website, and it explains how to get them and where you can use them, but I still don't really understand why they exist. Is there any benefit to using Paw Points instead of just paying with a credit or debit card?

I have a question about how the meal plans work.

From what I've seen, it looks like you're billed separately for the fall and spring semesters, but the Dining website also says meal plans run for an academic year.

Does that mean if you buy a meal plan (like the 5-Day Plan), you're committed to both semesters, or is there a way to only have a meal plan for one semester?

I've already emailed the Dining Office, but I wanted to ask here too in case anyone has experience with it.

when the official financial aid offers were given in june i noticed that FWS was not listed for me in the portal. i immediately emailed asking to be put on the waitlist and i was told that when people begin to decline, then students on the waitlist will be given a chance to accept the offer. it is now halfway through july and i've been checking in athena frequently and FWS still isn't being shown to me. i was wondering if its too late now for me to get one because i heard that applications for jobs begin in the summer and end in like september?

I unfortunately didn’t make the cut during this years admissions, I plan on attending KSU for a year as a bio major and then transferring into UGA. Could anyone let me know what my freshman year schedule at KSU should look like if I plan to transfer and if Ap credits count towards the 30 hour transfer minimum?

I'm an incoming junior in high school and lookkng at colleges. I'm a surreal artist,and ik curious if this program would be good for me since a lot of the course descriptions in the site are saying a lot of figure work and such.

Hey yall, i'm in a bit of a weird situation. I had to drop out of uga about two years ago because of mental health issues, and now i'm wanting to return for a different major entirely (animal health -> psychology) I saw on the admissions website that there's protocol for doing this but it didn't go into much detail. I was wondering if anyone else had done this and could give me any form of advice? TYIA!!
