Last year I was able to coordinate what I call, “Merry Ripmas”, with a couple family members. Nothing too crazy - being last minute - but a couple megas, a few value boxes, an ETB and some loose packs. This year I vowed to start the collection early and this is where we’re at thus far (waiting on a panini fifa retail pre order and those PO booster bundles are actually filled with an assortment of loose packs like AH, PF, ME, JT, etc). Any suggestions on what I should add from here on out?

This was the first case study: reconstructing the history of Final Fantasy TCG Cloud 1-182L and separating confirmed Wave 1 copies from mislabelled Wave 2 examples.

The research involved:
• archived sales records
• certification data
• grading labels
• visible card differences
• historical market records

The goal is not to predict prices — it is to preserve evidence and document the history behind the cards we collect.
