got hit by a red dodge challenger near the 401/403 interchange in mississauga on june 25 around 11:20pm, i was driving a black 2010 honda civic. the other driver took off after hitting me. i've got his info and filed a police report but it's self reported, no independent evidence of what actually happened

if anyone was driving through that stretch of the 401 near the 403 split that night around that time and has dashcam footage, please reach out. trying to get this properly documented before it turns into a 50/50 fault split. also if anyone saw it happen and is willing to say what they saw that would help a lot

For everyone accusing me of camping, I was actually in the process of overtaking, but I slowed down after the Audi passed me because I had no idea what his next move would be, or if he would actually cause an accident. It was only after I slowed down that the two cars on the right overtook me. Didn't realize there would be so many people trying to justify his actions.

Both u/Distr4ct3d and u/big_galoote have left over a dozen comments combined and appear to be taking this issue extremely personally in a manner that lacks rationale. I wouldn't be surprised if the two accounts belong to the same individual, and potentially the driver of the grey Audi.

I don't have collision coverage so TD saids the only way it's covered is through the other persons insurance but they have to take a week to confirm everything. In the meantime they said they want to take my car to their salvage yard just in case if I'm not covered I won't pay too much for storage fees, but the storage lot people said TD does this to take leverage away from you.
