It has been promoted a lot on Reddit. I guess Rise of the Tomb Raider will also get a physical release. But does this mean that the physical copies will be limited?

Hey everyone! I wanted to share a workaround I found on YouTube for TR 1-3 remastered. You do have to have beaten one of the games in order to do so. For this example, we will say you just finished The Decks in TR 2. When you get to Tibetan Foothills in the diving suit, save your game. Then go to a save on the game you beat. Let’s say you beat TR 1, go to any level, change her outfit, and save your game. Once you have done that, go back to your save from Tibetan Foothills (or whatever level you’re on). Lara will still be in the diving suit, but go ahead and have her health bar expire and scroll over to restart the level, not the save. Once you’ve restarted the level she will be in the outfit you selected! You can choose the Bomber Jacket should you wish but you can also choose any other. Of course after you beat the game she can change into anything but if it’s your first play through of the game this is a nice workaround.

Honestly the game was pretty good but it could have been better. It started off well with combat and interest plot presented by and "end of the world" type of story line so Lara had to fix what she caused before it was too late. I actually liked the story of the game, the only problem i have is the non existent combat encounters.

The game gives you new weapons and skill trees but you barely get to use them especially because of paititi, you just have to use a bow most of the time there. But I don't mind behind forced to wear the paititi clothes because it makes to blend in.

The game just needed more enemy encounters then it would have been peak. I am satisfied with the encounters the game does have, they were quiet epic.

This game feels the most Tomb Raider game in the the entire survivor trilogy. I enjoyed swimming, doing a few tombs (most of them were hard so I kept them for later), side missions felt meaningful compared to Rise and you get to explore more of Lara's background which was great but slow at times.

The game took some inspiration from Uncharted with how Jonah was with Lara along the way, her background story as a kid, exploring artifacts in San Jose and how the cutscenes were so cinematic with great music. The voice actors really performed well in the game.

The gameplay was good, I really loved the graphics and I only wish it had more combat.

I'd give it a 7.5/10.

Finally picked up the both remasters last week on sale. Not fired them up yet, but I saw the discourse right after the Challenge Mode update. That it apparently broke quite a few things (including some levels being unbeatable(?)), which led to fixes having to be swiftly brought about.

Are there any major and/or known issues still present?

This is pretty weird this happened to me, I haven't touched this game in awhile and decided to go back fresh new. Apparently if you begin the game doing the tutorial level, complete it and start the main game, Laura will be stuck in her training outfit. The only way around this glitch was deleting the game, save file and start fresh new again and start game directly in the cave level and not in the tutorial level. I see people on reddit have spoken up about the glitch but nothing was actually done about it. I think this is a problem. Not only that but I have noticed Lara is missing her lines in the tutorial level like with the jumping tutorial, some of the gymnastics lines and the swimming part. I don't remember this being an issue before any of these updates and I hope somehow the developers will consider fixing this.

So I’m doing the four Greek god trials, and I finished the Atlas room. But I forgot to grab the key before the rolling ball fell down. Subsequently, the wall poles to exit are now smashed, and I don’t have a save file that isn’t all the way back in Peru.

I’m so sad.

I know that Lara is not generally described as former military in any of the games, but I’ve always felt that the Angelina Jolie films may be hinting at some kind of military or intelligence background? I think it would also be very fitting.

She seems very comfortable working with MI6, has extensive tactical and weapons training (like in every depiction of her though) and has a history with Terry Sheridan, a former Royal Marine.
Their relationship sometimes feels as though they may have known each other through previous operations rather than ordinary adventuring?

Is there anything to confirm that she served in the military? Or is she simply meant to be an exceptionally well-trained civilian adventurer?
I may be remembering certain scenes incorrectly, so I’d be interested to hear how other people interpreted it.

Been playing ROTTR on the Nintendo Switch 2 and realised that the aforementioned Valiant Explorer Outfit is missing. Should this be the case or have Aspyr missed a DLC?

I've played it before and it's one of the buggiest games ever - I genuinely don't know if it's my laptop just can't handle it or if I've got a funny version. But the timings out, it keeps freezing and some scenes are loading and missing scenes? For example with the secret tombs in the geothermal valley, one of them should have wolves when you crawl through the gap? There was no wolves🤷😂

The mountain lion is just chasing me round most the map and I'm pretty sure it should stay in the corner near the hut.

I have the baba yaga mission too and like she wasn't even there when I got to the final fight scene with her I had to reload the checkpoint. Idk what's going on 😂
