Why was Lucifer able to sit to the right side of God? And did Michael really have such enormous power that he could defeat an archangel that sat to the right side of God?
Since God was a unique being and was the greatest being in the world, there should be no one sitting in that “equivalent” right seat. Not to mention that it was hard to think that God would give that seat to one of the angels he had created as a tool and a servant.
They must have been thinking that there was some special meaning in the fact that an angel, a lower being, was given that seat even so.
“The group was created with the goal of sitting in God’s Right Seat. And they believe that once they are in the Right Seat they will be able to use that power to evolve into an existence different again from an angel.”
The name of that existence was…
“La persona superiore a Dio.”
Both Stiyl and Agnese frowned upon hearing those words.
In other words…
“The One Above God. That is what I hear it is called.”
Chaddy once made a theory saying that the Dragon was actually Lucifer/Satan, I thought it was completely ridiculous because Index tends to not be so shallow with its mysteries. It's why we get more lesser known villains like Coronzon as Kamachi likes being unique with his inspirations.
But this actually changes everything.
The reason why Fiamma is able to become The One Above God is because he's aligned with Archangel Michael.
Only 3 people sat at God's Right Seat, Michael, Jesus Christ and Lucifer.
And would you look at that Lucifer is often described as a Dragon in the Bible.
And the great dragon was cast out — that serpent of old called the Devil and Satan, who deceiveth the whole world. He was cast out onto the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
-Revelation 12:9
And would you look at that, an alternative writing of Kamijou is: "La Persona Superiore a Dio" is also known as "Kamijou" (神上) in Japanese, which is pronounced same as Kamijou (上条)
So does this mean that the true power of Imagine Breaker is Lucifer from the Christian Phase?
Not quite. For the full answer we need to look at Thelema, Aleister's view:
ALEISTER CROWLEY'S SATANISM
INTRODUCTION
This is a collection of quotes from Aleister Crowley showing the importance that “The Devil,” “Satan,” or “Lucifer” did indeed have in his religious system of Thelema. Although Crowley did not use the term “Satanism” when describing his religion, it is obvious from his writings that he did in fact consider Aiwaz, the spirit who dictated The Book of the Law to him in 1904, to be one and the same as Satan, the Devil of Christendom, albeit obviously not in the same theological sense of Him being the source of “Evil” or a rebel Angel against “God.”
Instead, to Crowley, it almost seems that Satan is “God.”
Did you read that? To Aleister Crowley Satan is God.
“'The Devil' is, historically, the God of any people that one personally dislikes. This has led to so much confusion of thought that THE BEAST 666 has preferred to let names stand as they are, and to proclaim simply that AIWAZ, the solar-phallic-hermetic 'Lucifer,' is His own Holy Guardian Angel, and 'The Devil' SATAN or HADIT, the Supreme Soul behind RA-HOOR-KHUIT the Sun,the Lord of our particular unit of the Starry Universe. This serpent, SATAN, is not the enemy of Man, but He who made Gods of our race, knowing Good and Evil; He bade 'Know Thyself!' and taught Initiation. He is 'the Devil' of the Book of Thoth, and His emblem is BAPHOMET, the Androgyne who is the hieroglyph of arcane perfection.”
- Magick in Theory and Practice
According to Aleister's book of Magick in Theory and Practice Devil, Satan or Hadit are the same entity to him. Kamijou Touma is already alluded to being connected to Hadit so this fits like a glove.
“I was in the death struggle with self: God and Satan fought for my soul those three long hours. God conquered — now I have only one doubt left — which of the twain was God?”
- Aceldama: A Place To Bury Strangers In
Did you read that? Aleister Crowley cannot differentiate between God and Satan.
So with this I'd say that the World War III arc plants the seed for the Hadit connection, in Christianity his name is Lucifer, in Thelema his name is Hadit.
So yeah looks like I owe Chaddy an apology, he saw the truth before most of us did even if not directly 🤣
Hadit is the Secret Seed. In The Book of the Law he says; "I am alone: there is no God where I am." He is "the flame that burns in every heart of man, and in the core of every star." He is identified with kundalini;[6] in The Book of the Law he says, "I am the secret Serpent coiled about to spring: in my coiling there is joy. If I lift up my head, I and my Nuit are one. If I droop down mine head, and shoot forth venom, then is rapture of the earth, and I and the earth are one. There is great danger in me..."
Saw this on the Hadit Wikipedia page. He's a serpent.
I like how Kamachi was able to foreshadow Touma's true nature in a Christian arc like the Versus Roman Catholic Church arc and letting fans be able to connect the Thelema dots by going into the other figure that was said to sit at God's Right Seat. Kamachi is a genius.
Touma's given name is homophonous to 透魔, which can be translated as "Invisible Demon."
Huh 🧐
