Tigard/Beaverton Gym with a Jacob’s Ladder?
It’s time for a new gym, preferably one with a Jacob’s ladder. (And for real weight lifting—not a meat market.) Recommendations?

Hi all, I’ve had the same primary care doctor at Providence @ Scholls for many years. I’ve been thinking about switching it up for some time, so I’m here to see if anyone would like to recommend their male PC at this clinic or another nearby Providence clinic.
Appreciate it!

I am tired of these and I’m tired of unsavory people becoming billionaires by surveilling us. On our tax dime.
Deflock is an organization with a website with maps showing locations of cameras to increase awareness and provides resources to petition your local government. That’s it. Info and democracy.
The billionaire who started this company, Garrett Langley, doesn’t think you should be aware of this info, nor does he think you should participate in a democratic petitioning process.
He has deemed Deflock a “terrorist” organization. In the current climate, I think we all know what that means.
Info and democracy are now terroristic.
Do you still want Garrett Langley’s cameras in our town? Could we find a way to enforce traffic laws without 4th amendment stickiness? Could we not make another billionaire who thinks regular citizens who don’t want his junky ideas are terrorists?

Please help!!! I was on my way to the post office down the street from this intersection and the light turned yellow right as I got into the intersection. As I was crossing it (in the middle of the intersection, it turned red and the camera flashed me twice. Did I get a ticket even though I entered on yellow? I was going 35 MPH (the speed limit) and I was not speeding.

Any recommendations for small business that does home catering for small (8-12 people) girls night dinner?

I came across a large white and orange long-haired cat wandering near the parking lot tonight. No collar. Very friendly and clearly used to people. It walked right up to me, let me pet and pick it up, seemed comfortable and well cared for (not thin, coat looked healthy). It didn't want to be carried far, so I think it may live close by and know its way around.
I've left out food, water, and a warm spot near the parking lot somewhat near the garbage area in case it comes back tonight, but I couldn't get it to stay put.
So sorry I didn’t grab a photo, but if this is your cat (or you recognize it), please message me! I'm happy to help however I can, like keep an eye out, text you if I see it again, etc.

We've lived in this neighborhood for a few years now, and, especially during the summer nights, there is a burning rubber / plastic smell that fills up the area. It is almost like a skunk but it smells so much more chemically based than that, if this description makes sense. The smell fills up the apartment for hours at a time. Any idea what this is?

As the post says, I need an apartment by 7/20. My landlord is totally abusing her power as she's family, and I just don't feel like contesting it in court, even though I totally could. I may have to if I don't find a place fast enough, or if she messes with me enough. She comes, steals keys to my vehicle, and sabotages my packing efforts while I'm at work. If she does enough, I won't have a choice but to argue it. But that will be messy. I just need to move on.
So, as the post says, I urgently need a place. I have a cat. I am ideally looking for a 1- or 2-bedroom, spending up to $1600 without utilities. I would prefer to stay close to DT Tigard for work, but have no problem commuting a little. That puts us with the S Beaverton area, Lake Oswego (already know I probably can't afford it), Tigard, Tualatin, Wilsonville? Maybe outside of Tualatin? Maybe Sherwood? I don't know. I've never been in this situation before and am crippled by the stress and anxiety it's brought. If anyone has any good leads or personal experiences, I'd love to hear about them. I just don't have the time to check every single one out personally before making my decision.

Should we be thankful they at least didn’t put the fireworks in the bin? FFS 🤦🏽♀️
EDIT: I have been informed that this pic is actually of the efforts of a Good Samaritan who took it upon themselves to clean the trash and fireworks left by careless neighbors. So, a heartfelt “THANK YOU” to this very thoughtful person. But also, it makes me angrier that so many people had made such a mess in the first place. If y’all can lug this shit to the park, y’all can clean up after yourselves and take it back to your homes and put in the trash like normal people.

Hello! I need a hairstylist with weekend availability that knows how to wet cut kinky curly hair. A lot of curly hairstylists cut curly hair dry, but I want to try a wet cut. I also kind of butchered my last cut lol, so if they know how to fix small disasters that’ll be awesome.
Any suggestions? thank you!!

Tigard Police: Hear me out. You come up to Bull Mtn. and round up the folks shelling our neighborhood, and I'll vote for your next levy!

Our family watched “the big fourth” fireworks show, and the finale didn’t seem like it worked. I don’t know why I want to know if there was a malfunction or something, but it was such a random let down of a fireworks show. And then there were like 3 random one offs. What happened?

....im not going to rant here. Im just going to put my extremely tired amd nervous children back to bed. For those of you ready to rip roar and celebrate tonight (7/4, so technically tonight) in a similar fashion, dont drive home drunk. I cant stop you from being an inconsiderate soupfork, so just try to be safe.

Today we go check out a bakery stand in the bull mountain/ Tigard area.
A lovely lady opened this up after hustling and grinding as a pediatric er nurse for years. After the passing of her beloved dog she knew she needed soentning different. So she opened a bakery stand. Making all the things she loved growing up in New York. Her many changes a lot and she makes small batches of things. So be sure to get there early. Be sure to follow her for drops and her address
Here’s everything I picked up:
•Italian rainbow cookie
•peach galette
•coconut tiramisu cookie
•brown butter peanut butter cookie
•Italian bread 🥖
Everything was really good. Authentic. Fresh. If you are looking for a women owned small business to support and you like baked goods. I’d definitely go check her out. She is opened starting Fridays!

Just got out of a long term relationship and my best friend moved away. Seeking places to find friends. I am having a hard time finding any clubs of interest. Hiking, brunches, book clubs...
