I've marked some of the acts I'd like to see, red being can't miss, green being interested. I'm wondering if I'm sleeping on any acts this year. Thank you. 🙏
EDIT: Thank you all for the suggestions. Unfortunately the "At Dawn" slots in the morning are only for weekend ticket holders, so no Surgeon, Holden etc :(

Hello Overloaders. I'm guessing - hoping - that a fair few of you are fans of the wonderful Matmos. Anyway, I interviewed them recently for Line Noise, the written article is out today and I hoped you might enjoy it.
From the intro: "Every time a new Matmos album is released, I think what unbelievable fun it must be to actually be in Matmos.
Consider it: the loving couple of M. C. (Martin) Schmidt and Drew Daniel have explored concepts in electronic music from making an album out of washing machine sounds to composing song with distinct metallic clangs, including cemetery gates and aluminium cans. (This was their most recent record: 2025’s Metallic Life Review.)
Every album is different; every album is brilliant and every album pushes the envelope in its own particular way. Music is literally all around for Matmos and the possibilities are endless. But they are never po-faced or overtly chin-stroking, conscious of how fantastically ridiculous it is to make an album with their Whirlpool Ultimate Care II and then have to lug the self same machine around Europe on tour."
The interview includes Björk, fire, the Pavarotti of plastic pillboxes, Hit Em, gay energy and disgruntled Italian audiences.

Interested to know what people's first record purchase was, see how tastes develop and if you still like the record today.
For me, it was Leon vynehalls Brother/sister split on Aus, bought when I was around 16 and I still love both sides to this day. At the time I was buying a lot of Joy orb stuff, like his collabs with Boddika and some early Tessela bits, circa 2015

Hope it's ok to post this here! Running an event at Avalon Café this Friday evening, got the big man Conrad Pack coming to play some noisy, moody analogue techno, as well as Fig coming down from Manchester - her sets are incredible!
Def some overloady tracks to be enjoyed in here so come down if you're in the city. Tix on door / ra (https://ra.co/events/2475153)

Chemical brothers’ track from 1995 sounds like a track Blawan would produce today.

My girlfriend and I are traveling to London first week of August (4-10). First time, so looking for suggestions.
We'll be staying in Shoreditch and would love any suggestions for: record stores, hi-fi cafes, or vinyl listening bars. We're visiting a few different neighborhoods to do a lot of the touristy stuff, so anywhere around the city or a tube ride away.
~~
We're going to Four Tet @ Finsbury, and Overmono @ Old Naval College, and planning on going to Fabric and The Cause, but also open to other suggestions other club or things to do late night too

Unfortunately my group can no longer go this year so I'm selling 1 x GROUP-OF-4 TICKET (3rd RELEASE) for £839.
I've spoken to the team and they said RA will facilitate a name change on the tickets. DM me if interested 😄

I’ve been trying to find multiple ID’s to this mix from Swami Sound for Stone Island back in December, but using Shazam has been damn near useless and there’s no tracklist I can find. Any help?

Why has Call Super fell of the horse recently? He used to shell it out and be a power house, mixing up 90s dance classics and taking you on a nice journey. Always hammering out Tony De Vitt. Seen him 15+ times over the last 10 years and has always on fire but the last year or two he’s absolutely sucked. Feels like he‘s trying too hard to go down an artistic route and it’s not pulling it off, also this nonsense reading poems. Feels like he’s fell off bad recently, wondering if anyone else noticed the same. Be good to see him get back to how he was
