I bought this CD Mono Boxset off Vinted just recently for outrageously cheap (€70) the seller is also selling a few other sealed boxset collections of studio albums on CD and besides that just a bunch of clothing. It's sealed so I can't be sure of it's authenticity beyond how it looks on the outside but it looks okay from what I can tell!

The only thing that looks suspicious is the top line of the square seems further from the rim of the box than the bottom one, but that could just be the angle it's taken at. As well I'm not sure if the text on the spine is off center? My eyes could be playing tricks on me but I don't know.

Assuming everyone here knows how often this set gets faked and the affordable price has me suspicious lol

On the subject of dear prudence drumming

I have watched all the YouTube videos on this and don’t disagree that it’s Rigno. Occam’s razor would suggest it’s very likely instead of assuming Paul is just doing a perfect Rigno impression.

However, I haven’t seen it addressed that there is a bizarre aspect to the theory Ringos playing.

We all know the beatles welcomed Rigno back into the band with a lot of ceremony, flowers on his kit etc. and he was struck by this moment.

I wonder, how can we reconcile his big welcome back ceremony with the idea he was already playing and recording days before this happened supposedly on dear prudence? Seems like it doesn’t make any sense

Yea yea yea

While there is no official, finite count cataloged by music historians, The Beatles famously utilized the "yea yea yea" (or "yeah, yeah, yeah") refrain in at least 6 to 8 of their iconic tracks. [1, 2]

The phrase is most synonymous with their breakthrough single, but it appears in several others as well: [1]

She Loves You: The song most famous for the falsetto "yeah, yeah, yeah" hook.

Sie Liebt Dich: The German-language version of "She Loves You," retaining the same famous refrain.

It Won’t Be Long: Features the "yeah" refrain as a rapid call-and-response during the chorus.

Polythene Pam: John Lennon famously revives the self-referential "yeah, yeah, yeah" refrain during this Abbey Road medley track.

All You Need Is Love: The band playfully throws in the She Loves You refrain at the very end of this 1967 classic.

Helter Skelter: Contains the phrase shouted frantically as part of the backing vocals. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8]

Other tracks like "I've Got a Feeling" and "The Long and Winding Road" also feature variations of the phrase. [1]

john Yoko

I think Yoko was the best for John. Some people say she changed him and that she influenced his decision on leaving the band, but maybe she did, and what’s so bad about that? People change, like George said, change is what life’s all about. People change with lovers and friends, I know I do—I still carry interests and all sorts of things I learned from people I knew and still know. I think a lot of people who blame Yoko for everything bad within The Beatles just didn’t want to lose a good thing. But losing and gaining is what life’s all about, and you have to learn to accept and live with it. The Beatles weren’t going to last forever. Even John said he had grown tired of it, and he didn’t want to be singing “She Loves You” on stage when he’s 50 and nearly croaking.

John was always the experimental one with his music, even during The Beatles, and felt constrained even so, so it’s no wonder he was attracted to Yoko who was extravagant and experimental in every sense. She set him free.
