Looking for closed testers for Baybay — a free, offline phonics app for Filipino kids 🐦

Upvotes

Hi everyone! I built Baybay — a free, fully offline app that helps young kids learn to read Tagalog (letters → syllables → words) with audio, pictures, a listening game, and even Filipino Sign Language support. No ads, no tracking.

I'm on Google Play closed testing and need a few testers to opt in so it can go live. Takes ~2 minutes:

  1. Join the group: https://groups.google.com/g/baybay-testers

  2. Open the testing link (on your Android device): https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.baybayapp.baybay

  3. Tap "Download on Google Play" & install

⚠️ Use the same Gmail on your phone's Play Store. If it says "not found," wait a few minutes after joining the group.

Would really appreciate the help — and happy to return the favor and test your app too. Just drop your link in the comments. Salamat! 🙏

I built an AI security auditor called Aedis and I'm looking for a few devs to test it

I've spent the last few months building Aedis, an AI security auditor. The idea came from watching people ship and inherit codebases with no real idea what's lurking in them, since a proper audit costs more than most small projects are worth.

Instead of one model doing a shallow scan, it runs several flagship models over your code and cross-checks their findings, so it catches what single scanners miss: bugs that span multiple files, deliberate backdoors someone left in, broken access control, vulnerable dependencies. Straight up, it reviews the code, it doesn't run or exploit your app, so it's not a full pen-test, but it catches the expensive stuff.

I'd love a few devs to try it and tell me honestly what it nailed and what it missed. Comment if you're up for it and I'll send you a code to run it free. Happy to start on a throwaway or side project if you'd rather not put your main one in.

Looking for 15 Beta Testers: Tap2Sound App

Hi! I'm developing Tap2Sound, an Android app that makes switching between Bluetooth speakers devices as simple as tapping your phone on an NFC tag.

🎧 WHAT IT DOES:

Link ANY Bluetooth device to Tap2Sound:

\\\\- Speakers

  4. Everything saves locally on your phone (+ backend) for lightning-fast switching

✅ WHAT I NEED FROM YOU:

\\\\- Test the app during beta

\\\\- Report bugs or share improvement ideas

\\\\- Share your NFC tag ID so I can add it to the database

🎁 WHAT YOU GET:

\\\\- 100% free app

\\\\- Direct input into development

📱 HOW TO JOIN:

  1. Comment-Send me through Tap2Sound.com form your Gmail address

[iOS][TestFlight] Sideline Save: Stop recording every play - capture youth sports highlights with a 10-second rewind

Sideline Save is an iPhone camera app for youth-sports parents who want to save a highlight without recording the entire game. When something happens, you tap Record, and the saved video can include the few seconds immediately before the tap.

TestFlight: https://testflight.apple.com/join/gEm86zn3

What I’d especially like tested:

  1. Is the purpose of the app clear within the first minute?
  2. Do you understand what the app is doing?
  3. Does it work the way you expect? What's confusing?
  4. Were you able to successfully capture a video?

All feedback are welcome. Thanks for trying it.

More about the app here: https://chase-seibert.github.io/sideline-save-community/about.html

Building a fitness app to get in shape. It worked - now I'm looking for a few testers 🙏

A few months ago I went through a breakup and decided to put all that energy into myself and finally get into good shape.

I'd always struggled to stick with a gym routine. I find it incredibly boring and while I knew how to use a lot of the machines, I turned up with no real direction or guidance and I would never stick with it enough to see progress.

So I decided to build something to help myself. Where I could see my improvements over time and get pushed to do more instead of having to rely on scraps of paper, phone notes or memory.

From that it grew into tracking my nutrition & overall goals too. It's kept me consistent and pushed me to do more.

When I mentioned it to a few mates struggling with the same thing, they wanted it too. So I decided to transform it from my own personal app into something that others can use, in case it helps anyone else. 🙂

It's called Adonae — it tracks workouts, calories and protein, shows your real trends over weeks (weight, waist, strength), and pulls steps, sleep and heart rate from your watch or smart device via Health Connect (Garmin, Fitbit, Samsung etc)

It adapts over time based on your goals and activities so it constantly keeps you in check.

I've just got into the closed test route and need some testers. Unfortunately it's Android only at the moment - as I don't have an iPhone and Apple charge $99/yr for a developer account.

Join the tester group → https://groups.google.com/g/adonae-testers

Become a tester → https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.adonae.app

Thanks for reading !

[Android][Test4Test] TonePilot — custom notification sounds per ontact/app/keyword, looking for 12 testers

Hey — building TonePilot, a privacy-first Android app that plays a custom sound for notifications matching rules you set (specific contact, app, or keyword) — with per-rule volume and an optional Do Not Disturb bypass. No ads, no trackers, and the app has zero INTERNET permission (technically can't send data anywhere).

Need 12 testers to opt in and stick around for Google's 14-day closed testing window before I can apply for production access. Feedback on crashes, confusing UI, or missing features very welcome.

Link: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.tonepilot.app

Note: UI is German only right now (English planned), core flow should still be easy to follow. Android 8.0+. Happy to test your app back — drop your link/DM me!

[Android][Test4Test] JobDirect — job search app, India-focused. Looking for 12-15 testers for 14 days

Hey — building JobDirect, an app that pulls job listings directly from company career pages (skips the recruiter/job-board middlemen) plus some AI tools for resume matching and tailoring. Need testers to opt in and keep the app installed for the next ~2 weeks, opening it every few days — browsing jobs, trying search, saving a few, nothing that takes more than a couple minutes at a time. Happy to test your app back in return. DM me your mail ID and lets get started. Thanks!

IOS [iOS] I built an app to make election news easier to follow

Post image
1 Upvotes

I built Election Radar because U.S. election news can be hard to follow. Even if you follow a couple of news outlets, it can still be hard to quickly understand what happened this week.

Election Radar is an app that uses AI to gather weekly election highlights, organize them by state, and include source links so you can read the full story.

The main idea is simple: open the app, quickly scan what’s happening across the country, tap into any state you care about, and read more when something catches your attention.

You can also explore the app in two ways:

  • By time: If you want to see what happened two weeks ago, you can browse previous weeks.
  • By state: If you’re interested in Georgia, you can tap into the state and look back at the election events that have happened there over time.

I’d love to hear how the app feels to use, especially whether you can quickly understand what’s happening this week without much explanation.

I’m also curious whether the past-week and state-history features are easy to discover on your own.

Note: these are AI-gathered highlights, so they may not include every story, and some states will naturally have fewer election updates than others.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/election-radar/id6792344347
