Just got an update notification for v14 lite but I think I’m going to hold off a while because I really like the max speed limit controls we get on v12.

Really wanted to wait for this to come out a little bit and the bugs to be taken care of and I honestly have no problem with my hardware 3. I even just took a 4 hour road trip with it yesterday. In my opinion it works pretty damn good but I couldn’t resist anymore. Let’s see what this is about.

I know that it is normal for the delivery date to adjust commonly but want to know if it’s normal to move at least 3 times.

M3P RWD ordered July 3 in Quicksilver and delivery range has moved 3 times.

Took the plunge did the 14 lite update and immediate first drive was good. Everything‘s seemed fine but now my car would not unlock the door for me, had to wait nlock via app, next drive it immediately aborted FSD with error, seems to be definitely acting weird, buyer beware.

Placed an order on 7/12 and kept getting order dates pushed back. Checked the inventory today and found the same spec “in-transit” not far from me. Cancelled the old order and placed this one.

What is the reason for this, is anyone else experiencing this as well

I'm traveling for 4 weeks, and I want to park my car up. It will be in a secured location and I can switch Sentry off. It will be in the shade, so I think I can switch Overheat protection as well. Finally, I have access to a wall-charger, so I can leave it plugged in too. I will switch the car to Low Power Mode and will *try* to not check in on it too often.

Is there anything else I should know / do.

I love taking care of my car and I clean it regularly from the inside out.
I changed my air filters about 3 months ago as it had been some time since I last changed it but there’s still an off kinda like a musty smell that comes off from the AC vents when I start my car.

I usually park outdoors during work so I’m guessing that as it stays out in the heat for 8hrs a day it gets that smell from there.

Any recommendations and help on how to fix this issue would be of great help! Also would love for recommendations on any car scent yall use. Thanks lot!

Hello, after updating my Tesla few days ago, I was going through the app and saw alerts section and saw I had one alert which was the following. I went to the screen chime bell alert section and didnt see this error only shows in app. On that day July 20, I just had my lunch bag and closed metal water bottle on the passenger seat. I have not seen this error once on the screen either. I have read this could be a glitch but I'm just curious if anyone else has ran into this issue.

Wife and i have survived off of one car for years but with the work changing, we’re looking at adding a model 3.

I ordered my model 3 (premium RWD) bc the lease terms were decent - 36m/10k for $350 but when submitting my lease application in the app, that monthly price differed significantly. Same $ down, but different monthly price.

Is this something i can clear up with support before submitting my app.. first time leasing too

Holy improvement, at first I thought this update would just be FSD 12 with backing and parking and they would just slap the ‘FSD 14 Lite’ name on it.

But there genuinely is a HUGE improvement with this update, the car is buttery smooth. It reverses itself all the back if for some reason you find your self in a blocked path. It even navigates differently too.

The car is definitely a lot smarter too, you can tell it’s been trained off of a lot more data

Order placed on 7-12. The estimated delivery was August 1-September 3. The ETA message changes to “in production” last Saturday 7-18. Now the window is much narrower and closer. I have no VIN assigned yet.

This is a Premium RWD, quicksilver exterior and white interior. Everything else is default. I live in Utah.

Based on your experience, would this be a reliable ETA? Waiting sucks.

I own both vehicles with AI3 (‘21 model 3) and an AI4 (26 model Y) for reference

The jump from 12.6.4 to v14 lite is very substantial, feels an order of magnitude safer, and has the true ‘sentience’ feel of v14. The highway feels noticeably smoother & smarter lane choices. Brake stabs are completely gone, and I had 0 issue with the sun right in its way. Yellow lights are handled much better like a human would. The brake motion is now much smoother as well, on par with my AI4. I even took it through a complex construction zone, no problems. Attention monitoring is much looser too & sensitivity is tied with your speed profile. With that said, like most new FSD updates, it had little quirks like an acceleration stab (instead brake stabs now) but it’s rare and not too noticeable. The start button & parking work flawlessly, no different from my AI4 with the same bugs that has with parking alignment sometimes. Biggest benefit with AI4 at this point is reaction time, obstacle avoidance & overall edge case improvements. Day-to-day driving is basically solved on AI3 & I’m sure will get smoother over time.

Note: if you have safety score, for some reason v14 lite gives it an error & shows it as if it was new. Small bug I’m sure will be fixed

Finally pulled the trigger on a tesla after borrowing my in laws for a couple weeks after I had to sell my old car. No way I could go back after that. Snagged a late year 22 M3 with 22k miles on it! Can’t wait.

Went with 20% all the way around and 50% on the windshield . I use a sun visor in the back/half window so went with just half back window. Last pic is stock no tint.

Im getting Model 3 this weekend and I have white seats! I was wondering about the tint. Plan is to go 20% front doors and back window and 5% rear doors. From what I'm seeing and reading this might be way to light of a shade for the fronts.... anyone with some photos of the 20% front and white seats.

So I have had my new M3 Premium AWD nearly two months, the dreaded dash rattle appeared after two weeks.... Tesla can't see it until end of August so I have been tinkering. I did the extra foam on the air vents under the floating wing, added felt tape to the sound bar grill, neither worked. I noticed whilst examining the dash with the floating wing off that if I applied upward pressure in the middle of the dash the rattle disappeared. So the fix has been a 79mm plastic rod wedged in that hole under the floating wing behind the screen that lifts the dash top about 1-2mm... Extensive test drive over some crap roads, no rattles 😀

I have a deal lined up for a couple M3Ps and I want to know which is a good deal:
Both of these are 2022 model 3 performances.

1. Has 55k miles, a cracked windshield and owner is willing to negotiate listed for $28k and battery health of 84% after doing full 17 hours battery health test

2. Has 70k miles, pre-paid FSD (this is a feature I would like), but dealer is not willing to negotiate from $27,900 and it has battery health of 81%.

   This one is also grey on white which is a much more desirable color for me.

Both of these seem to have weak batteries, but they are the only 2022+ ones I can find in my price range (below $28k). Are either of these good deals

Looking for a Tesla model 3 I could comfortably use for ~5 years to do uber 1-2 times a week. I would like to be at 20k give or take. Seeing a lot around 100k and wondering how reliable they will be. I’m Philadelphia/NJ but would consider shipping one.
