I told her that I don't support those people or their views. Just because some controversial people show up doesn't mean I have to agree with them. My support was only for the students and their demands.
The argument got worse. She started verbally abusing me and even said that Sonam Wangchuk is a Chinese agent. At that point, I didn't want to keep arguing, so I ended the call.
A little later she texted me, "don't call me," blocked me everywhere, and that was it.
I'm still trying to process how someone who loved me so much could end the relationship over one disagreement. I'm not posting this to debate politics.
