Hi everyone,

I’m an independent author and parent currently working on the first book in my new children's series, Noura says Bismillah. The story follows a curious 2-year-old character named Noura and her tuxedo cat, Max.

As I get ready for launch, I’m looking for 15–20 parents to join my official Launch Team. The goal is simple: I’m looking for honest feedback and an honest review on Amazon on launch day in exchange for a free advance digital copy to read with your little ones.

If you are interested in supporting an indie project and helping us bring this story to life, you can sign up here: https://noura.zumailzarook.com

I also plan to share regular content related to the book and parenting as @TheBismillahDad on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, if you'd like to follow along.

I’m happy to answer any questions you have about the book or the launch process!

Thanks for letting me share this here!

New Quran App for Kids! Free and Ad Free!

There is a totally new Quran memorisation app for kids

It is free and even AD-FREE! It is just for the sake of Allah.

I would love that muslim kids make use of it to memorize Quran.

Right now it is in English language (and Arabic).

Give it a try as I believe it is really worth it: you can find in play store by search for "Quran Kids - Smart Hifz"

or from here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ora.qurankids

Teaching emotions to Muslim children

Salaam everyone!

I wanted to share a simple tool we’ve been using to help Muslim kids understand and talk about their feelings.

It’s an emotion wheel made for children, using clear visuals and gentle language to help them name emotions and start conversations. We’ve found it especially helpful for toddlers and preschoolers—whether at home, during homeschool time, or in calm-down moments.

Emotional learning is such an important part of raising confident, empathetic kids, and it’s nice to have resources that align with Islamic values and encourage kindness, patience, and self-awareness.

Would love to hear—how do you help your kids talk about big feelings?

How are you preparing for Ramadan with your mini Muslims?

Whether it’s a countdown, dua practice, crafts, books, or simply talking about what Ramadan means — we’d love to hear it 🤍

Share your ideas, plans, or questions in the comments.

Big or small, every effort counts!

May Allah allow us and our children to reach Ramadan and benefit from it. Ameen.
