Hello finally was able to order one from Psa it’s the toro model with a red dot, already got my brrrt switch and was wondering if I need to run a rate reducer for right now as I’m not going to be running suppressed yet really just wanna know how I can get consistent reliability i’m going to be running CCI 22lr ar tactical ammo

finally got it together and running....

TX22 toro with dead air mask. Bought a rate reducer from odd mfg to work with can. Now its still a one shot bolt action pistol. Chambers a round but looks like it's getting light primer strikes.

Any ideas on how to make this thing work? runs flawlessly without a can both with and without rr.

What is it how much too replace and how did it break i have all four previous pina i removed from frame and all is in tact

My first attempt at any kind of chassis 3D printing! Not my design, this is the TX7

I have the 2 magazines that came with it, and 3 extras I bought, so 1 15 round, and 4 22 rounders. It seemed random when it happened, didn't always happen.

Gun is not modified in any way, no optics and nothing been changed, stock.

I tried CCI SV, CCI Mini-Mag and CCI Quiet-22 Semi Auto. It seemed random, but not had a brand new gun fail to lock back the slide with so many new magazines.

I picked up a brand new TX22 today. Tried to disassemble and lube as I do everything I get. The slide doesn't go forward(to takedown) after releasing the striker(while depressing takedown). I am 100% positive I am doing the takedown process correctly, just seems as if the barrel is locked in place? I checked everything before the transfer except the takedown as I never thought that would be the issue I would have with a new item😂. Do I try and "break it in" and hope it comes loose or just start a warranty claim day one? I have done endless googling and forum searching but no one has a good answer. I have removed striker spring but couldn't get the housing to come out of the slide with it still on the frame. I am not familiar with the platform(I would be if I could get the damn thing apart) so not sure of potential causes but my initial thought is tight tolerances on the tabs that lock the barrel into the frame?

So picked up a new tx22 last month and had some issues shooting. Constant failure to feed. Ended up taking it back home and cycling some rounds through it on the bench. The "Impact Insert" is striking the second round that's still in the magazine while pushing the first one into the chamber. Ended up googling it and found some comments by "mojo" on TaurusArmed forum back in July 2023. Seems like a pretty common issue now that I read into it. Hopefully they will be able to correct under warranty. Just thought I'd share the issue in case anyone else runs into it. You can tell if you are having this issue by hand cycling a magazine worth of rounds through it without firing them. It leaves nasty marks on the side of the bullet and/or casing and can also dent the casing.

CCI ammo. Never seen this before. Was wondering why it wouldn’t chamber a round and then found this. Any ideas on how to get this out or get a new barrel? They are sold out on taurus website.

just purchased this and it’s landing at my ffl in just a few days. what are the recommendations to make it go brrr? certain brands, rate reducers, upgraded springs, weights? those who have the toro with viridian what do you have done to it make it brrr reliably? looking into purchasing all parts necessary before breaking something
