First time watching a tarantula molt, was super excited to check the sex, but when I saw what was left behind I became unsure. Any advice? It's a Golden Knee

How most of my friends have been so negative about my new tarantula sling. Luckily my immediate family has been interested, but it sucks when I tell a friend or acquaintance and they immediately act in disgust. And really hurts when it's a close friend of mine.

I understand arachnophobia, and won't be shoving pictures or talking about feeding or stuff like that, but please don't tell me to 'squash that.'

I just bought a sling from a town roughly 2.5 hours away, he was relatively active when I bought her but she burrowed into a hole at the start of the ride back home. My air conditioning stopped working on the way back and it got pretty uncomfortably hot on the way back home so when I arrived home I dug her out of her burrow to make sure she was OK before setting her up, I am now worried that I could've risked disturbing a moult if she was in pre moult possibly.

Two month old Pumpkin Patch baby was surrendered to my local pet store, I picked her up for free because I was worried about someone getting her to kill her (no gender because way way too young but im hoping it’s a girl), anyway, I’ve never owned a tarantula this young. I’m watching videos and researching actively but I was curious what advice Reddit had.

My t, g pulchripes, is laying flat on the floor of his enclosure without using any leg support. He’s a grown male and I am worried about this behavior because he is usually active at this time of the day and I had never saw him laying flat and I’m worried

My little one has been hard at work renovating their enclosure, but I’m worried if they keep digging like this it’s all going to fall in on them. Should I be concerned?

Thinking about removing some of the drainage layer so she’ll have more burrowing room. So excited for the new baby…

It took her a week, but my baby Chilean Rose Hair is finally going down in her hide and digging. She keeps bringing out piles of dirt. Does this mean she’s getting comfy in her enclosure? less

Ive got a tank now that is working for the time being but it has doors on the front instead of a top, and Im looking at tarantula cribs but they all sound to small. What enclosure would you guys recommend for a grown g. Pulchra

My curly hair tarantula molted at the opening of its burrow yesterday. I am worried it’s going to be trapped but I don’t want to lift its burrow up to retrieve the molt until it’s safe. How long should I wait? I’m sure it can dig its way out but I don’t want to just assume and risk it being trapped! I also don’t want to start moving stuff around while she’s recovering and injure her. There is usually a bigger opening but it slid down durning its molt. Thank you!

My T is coming on the 27th because the website says it's "too hot" I'm a first time Tarantula owner (or future tarantula owner depending on your point of view.) and I need to know if there's anything I should be doing.

Hey all! My T. Albo babies are ready to find their new homes! I provide the enclosures as well! They are a month and a week old and are 1/2 of an inch 1st instars! Every single one of them are healthy I haven’t had any pass away on me. They are very fuzzy and cute and are excellent eaters and molters! So if you are interested comment down below or DM me! I live in the Western Massachusetts area and I cannot ship unfortunately.
