Misty was in a way dumped on the streets by our front neighbors. We didn't know she wasn't helped and so she could get pregnant and so she was. We took care of her last winter but she wasn't always at out backyard. Slowly we saw her grow in size. Which to a point that we definitely know she was pregnant and about to give birth any moment. We talked to our neighbors shortly after she gave birth to 4 kittens in our home at night.

The neighbors didn't had much to say so we offered to take care of Misty and her kittens. They accepted immediately. As time went by we grew fond of the kittens and decided that we will keep them all. Kittens are healthy and there 11 weeks old. A few weeks ago we had mama Misty checked out, she is in good shape. She was spayed and got some shots, next to she got chipped.

I got to this subreddit by luck and tought I'd share some pics and a short story of mom and one of her kittens. Misty is Tabico and Nala, the kitten is officially not, but she only wears tabby in the orange of the calico coat.

Misty's other 3 kittens are male tuxido, male mix tabby-white, and female full Tabby.
