Samsung UN65RU7200FXZ4 issues, backlighting or something else?
So this is what my Samsung 65” displays. From researching this type of image, I’ve seen similar issues declared as backlighting failures. Is that what is going on here? And if that’s the culprit, do I need to buy a complete backlighting set to properly repair this TV? Any guidance in getting pointed in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

Lg 86" strange things happening on screen.
I finally had time to take a good look at my parents TV that was having issues. I have some pics to show what I've tried to troubleshoot it so far. First pics are with both ribbon cables connected to tcon. Image gets more blotchy and washed out over time. Next with left side disconnected. Last set is right disconnected. It works perfectly on half the screen with the right side disconnected. Could this be the tcon or ribbon cable? No physical damage to the unit.
